There are only a few rules to follow in the Abyssal Chronicles, so please, make it a point to follow them, unless you want to be kicked out of here faster than you can say, "OH MY GOD IT'S LLOYD!"^^.
1. No SPAMMING! And we know we don't have a specific rule about how long your posts should be, but please don't abuse that privilege...
2. No DOUBLE POSTING!!! The only times double posting is allowed is when you need to bring attention towards the thread. BUT if you notice that no matter how many times you double post and no one replies back, then don't bother doing another double post -_-;
3. No CENSORED WORDS that I still may not have censored^^.
4. There are weird people who join a forum in order to spread pornographic images. Do that, and consider yourself out, banned, whatever. In other words, keep the forum PG13!
5. No FLAMING! Respect all members and be courteous to others. Constructive criticism for one's work is still accepted.
6. No ADVERTISING in other boards besides the advertisement board. (which we don't have yet, so PM any of the admins/mods if you want an advertisement board). Advertisements via sigs are allowed, if you'll notice.
7. No posting of SPOILERS unless you state so beforehand.
8. Show proper RESPECT to other forum members. That means not picking senseless fights because you find them annoying in some way. There is always a PEACEFUL way to solve problems.
9. Please, read other topics first before posting your own for there might already be topics of the same... topic.
10. If you see a topic that's already somewhat dead, then don't attempt to revive it.
11. Have fun^^! We don't want you feeling caged or anything in the forums, after all.
SIG RULES:
After a long debate, we now have our own set of sig rules to follow. They take effect three days from now (May 30th, 2007) so that those who have to adjust may have time. Please, PLEASE adjust them as the rules see fit. If not, the admins will take the first step and delete oversized signatures.
1. The maximum width/length of your sig is 500x250 pixels. This includes text, so please bear in mind. That's already a lot compared to other forums, mind you.
2. You may have as many images in your sig as you can, as long as they fit the 500x250 limit(08/31/2009 Edit: previously 580 x 250, now changed to 500x250 -sukotsuto)
3. It may be any filesize. We don't want you guys to feel restricted with the use of animated GIFs, unlike what some forums do.
4. Sigs may contain advertisement of other sites and the like.
5. Sigs may NOT contain inappropriate material (porn, etc.) Failure to comply within the next three days will result to deletion (or replacement, or lessening) of your sig.
AVATAR RULES:
1. Limit size is 100x100 pixels. 2. Again, we don't care much about the file size. Use GIFs to your extent.

I'm not into being strict and all, so bending the rules a bit is okay if we use common sense on what's right. Flaming, bad language, unwanted ads, stupid spam and spoilers are something we can't turn an eye away from though, so those are not cool

New sig rules are up~!
SIG RULES:

Are you... Sure about this?
The reason why other forums have this restriction is to prevent long load times for people with slower connection--Or smaller memory (If it DOES affect it...).
You never know, some people could abuse this and upload files which are between 5-10 MB even.

It's fine. Even if that image has a big file size, it'll be the only one that won't show. Well, it's like that in my case.

Oh and btw, although this isn't a rule, I do suggest that posts should lean more on quality rather than quantity when it comes to forum posting. Forum discussions are different from chatting, and the more thought put behind a post, the more respectable and coherent it will be (or something like that)
Unless of course those particular threads are all about being totally random (forum games and debris belt sort of things), use common sense as to not spam the boards

Sig limit size rule change has been approved! The current allowed sig size is now 500x250 limit instead of the 580x250 limit. Forum rules regarding signature size had been amended to reflect the change.
