I only use Spada as he is the only character which I know how to infinite combo with (well I know 2 with him).

Spada or Ruca. I'm only really good at fighting with swords. >_<;; It's faster~

Ruca is... fast? Unless I am using artes only, I get interupted before I even attack the enemy!

I like playing as Iria, she is the only Tales palyable character with Guns. Or as Spada because he's using two swords and he is very fast.

iria's good for staggering enemies, but i use Ruca, mainly for his elemental artes, they're so much easier to us, Spada's fast, but i don't like infinite combo's, well not the ones where you just use the same 3 artes forever.

If the DS had another sort of button for something like shortcuts, then battles will be more interesting.

i mainly use Ange or Spada because their combos are amazing 8D
and quickly get their awakening gauge full with their combos

I use Spada because he's like a "Magic Swordsman" version of Lloyd. And he has a beret.

I started playing as Ruca, but I much prefer playing as Spada, so usually him.
