Is the quest still up?! Here's my LOL pic
What the F! What are you trying to SAY!
I pity those souls who will die in case a fire broke out there >,<
I just noticed too. Does the creators of these have deathwishes!?

(some acronyms and definitions at the end of the post)
Back to regular programming for me.
Here's what I've been up to lately. The making of my makeshift studio!
Planning to make a real one soon for my plamo (A 2ft x 2ft x 2ft light tent most probably)
I had so much fun with the studio!
And here's some pictures of the finished product of the skeleton I posted some months ago

I also made a review of one of my mechs

9 misc. parts for the electronics
5 lamps
1 LED
1 foil sticker sheet
1 decal sheet
II. ReviewStrike Freedom, being a mobile suit piloted by the protagonist in GSD, has gotten many renditions aside from the 1/60 release namely
1 HG 1/144
2 NG 1/100 (clear and regular)
4 MG (FBM, Extra Finish, EXPO and regular)
Front and back of SF lightning edition
If examined for a while one might observed that the built of the 1/60 release is close to that of the NG 1/100. detailed comparison later.
II.A. Articulation/Stance CheckA problem from the NG 1/100 release is still prevalent on this model considering that this was made a year after the former's release; that is the weight imbalance between the mech and the backpack.
Though it seems like it's standing in reality it's back is leaning against the wall. It was a good thing this problem was rectified in the MG release.
This comparison was made possible by having the Hi-MAT stand at the floor. Otherwise the SF will lean back and eventually fall.

And an FYI for everyone. In the pic the SF somehow looks shorter but technically the SF must be taller.
SF stands 18.88m and Strike stands 17.72**
Erratic as it is while standing it's is quite surprising how it makes a very clean crouch. the legs, from knee down, had a face-lift from what was like the NG 1/100's legs.
This one gave the idea for that rip-off over the other thread.
Another feature that saves the SF from being a "action-stand-only" plamo is the waist articulation which is also not present in the NG 1/100.
the waist allow a 30 degree movement either left or right. Bringing it to 45 will dismantle the rear part of the groin. It is another flaw I must say since the had the option to have the ball for the legs split in two rather than only having the front part have the whole ball.
Like any NG 1/60's the free-manipulator has only two pivots per finger and one pivot for the thumb.
Namida! J/K
Here is a showcase of its overall articulation especially on the arms
II.B Flashes, seam lines and color accuracyBeing a no-paint no-mod builder this criteria is important to me.
Flashes more or less are hidden except for the obvious places like the Hi-MAT
Otherwise they are hidden pretty well. Like the shin for example
Pretty neat eh~ Just like an MG
Unlike the Hi-MAT a problem faced by the knee was a seam and since this version has lights. The light somehow passes through the seam making it obvious when it it turned on.
The other obvious seam line is seen in the rail gun even after snipping some parts of the pegs the seams are still wide.
The last and the most obvious seam line would be the one on the ankles
My cent on this. why not place te seam in the center instead? It'd be easier to fix the seam line without using cement.
As for color accuracy. after reviewing the manual none of the colors seen in the middle section of the manual seem to differ with the model thus making this 1/60 quite accurate unlike the 1/60 Impulse's Core Splendor.
II.C. ComparisonSide by side comparison between NG 1/100 and NG 1/60.
P.S. somebody please help me remove the paint! T_T
My reasons for doing this is
1. NG 1/100 resembles the NG 1/60 more. (excuses)
2. I don't have any of the MG versions. (the real reason)

One major turn-off that I got from the 1/60 SF was this
Why is it so flat... >,< Yet another one of "what-were-you-thinking-bandai" moments.
III. Action posesbest viewed with media player with GSD playlist
IV Scores8/10 Articulation/Stance Check
9/10 Flashes, seam lines and color accuracy
9/10 Overall
I would recommend this to fans of both GSD and Plamo alike.
I recommend this one to GSD fans, well for obvious reasons, the SF really is popular and you're kind of left out if you don't have at least one rendition of this.
I recommend this also to plamo fans since the wiring was a real challenge! But for hardcore plamo fans I do believe you are better of getting an MG version instead since there are some articulation flaws in this release; the same reason why I didn't give it a 10/10 overall because I think that Bandai can do more than this
It's worth every penny I must say.

BTW just some acronyms
PlaMo (PLAstic MOdel)
GSD (gundam seed destiny) => the latest gundam series prior to Gundam 00
NG (no grade) => one of the classes of consumer plamo in gundams
MG (master grade) => another class made for intermediate to advance model builders
