I'm farily interested in Judo and kendo ;P
I have my own Bokken, and sometimes when my friedns come over, we go to the nearby forest to spar in MMA, well that and camoflage, suprise attacks and acting like massive MGS3 fanboys.
My friends use Bo, and training sai BTW

I once took up Tae Kwon Do and Karate, but I never progressed past the white belt, since I decided my pop's teaching were more effective. Given that, although I'm self-trained, I'm technically a kickboxing practitioner. As for weapons, I have a shinai, bokken, bo staff, nunchakus (I have I think five pairs of nunchakus, but I gave away three of them to a cousin), and balisong aka Filipino butterfly knives. I used to train on weapons, but I eventually stopped because I stopped and asked myself this: what are the chances that you'll ever get a hold of a wooden sword, a bo, nunchuks or knives in most life-or-death situations, unless you're illegally concealing them? Given that, I preferred training with hands and feet, because they're the weapons you always have with you. Although I still use the Shinai (bamboo sword) for toughness training (ie I ask my bro to hit my forearms and shins with it to train resistance against blows) and Bokken to strengthen my forearms and shoulder. Even though I'm not a judo practitioner, I'd love to participate in a few judo matches one day, just to feel how it's like to be at its receiving end

I've used Shinai before, but I only spar with weapons like my Bokken. For me, training is both recreation, and meditation, as for hand to hand combat, I'm not particuarly outstanding at Judo, but I have more than enough experience fighting, and winning despite my lightweight size of 5"11, just over 8 kilo's, has managed to gain me a rep that keeps me out of needed to be so good at it. I still mess around with my friends from time to time with hand to hand com at when we go into the forst, kinda like tag, but with fighting and camoflage and stuffs ;P

Anyone of you dudes fancy martial arts and MMA? Because aside from gaming, martial arts had always been one of my greatest passion of mine, and I think it's because it's in my genes (there are fighters in my family tree after all). You can easily make me stay and watch for hours in one place if someone busts out an MMA event DVD and plays it, particularly from the now-defunct PRIDE FC organization (speaking of which, PRIDE FC > UFC any day). I have some experience in martial arts which I learned from my dad, though it's pretty mixed. My dad had a Filipino sensei in the past so that's why I was able to learn some basics from my dad, though not all that much.

^ Arnis de mano? Yaw yan? Speaking of Filipino martial arts, my high school once considered putting Arnis as part of our PE curriculum, but they somehow decided against it :/

the reason i said im a gilish guy is because of my personality,i honestly understand girls more then guys and im really sensitive and easily hurt,i cry over things really easily and well theres alot more i cant explain i just seem to have more if a girlish personality then anything, some even think of me as a girl ^^" like a good example that i came up with is im a girl on the inside like soul and everything else wise but on the outside im a guy xDD also the fact that most to almost all of my friends are girls i i talk about feelings all the time like 24/7 hehe

Oddly enough, the only time I really cry is when I saw something so awesome (usually something related to fighting and martial arts) it made me cry happy, manly tears having witnessed such a totally awesome display of brutal buttkicking action.
To be specific: Bruce Lee movies Tony Jaa movies Emelianenko Fedor, Antonio Nogueira, Mirko Filopovic, Wanderlei Silva and Quinton Jackson MMA matches Metal Gear Solid 4 final battle
Yes you will see me both weep and be in a giddy joyful glee whenever I witness those.
