I've never had breasts in my life. I see your gynecomastia there. Don't try to deny it.

I love me some England. As Arthur Kirkland. He's very a sexy, sweet, gentleman with thousands of charm points.

I love me some England. As Arthur Kirkland. He's very a sexy, sweet, gentleman with thousands of charm points. And he's an adorable tsundere. But he belongs to either America or France, sadly. /sob And of course, we discussed this before too: I love Van, he's sexy. So is Guy. and Kratos. and Richter.

*twitch* ...England does not belong to anyone, not to America nor France. He's not anyone's property.
Besides, I don't see how either if you're referring to as pairing wise.

Oh well, then I really don't see them.
England acts more like a big brother looking out for his younger sibling. Besides, he still continues to view America as a child. So I can't see them romantically. As for France, I can kind of see, but nahh. France is better off with the not-yet-officially-finalized-Scotland than England.
I'm one of those rare Hetalia fans who sees the majority of them as straight and dislike all the Yaoi nonsense fans come up with. Except for England/Japan and Prussia/Japan since those are actually cute and makes more sense. --But its all about the BROSS and FRIENDSHIP in reality.

The shippers are the scariest part...

Shippers, the rabid ones at least, are one of the big reasons I'm turn off from most pairings. Germany/Italy is one of the major ships i came to dislike.

Non-rabid shippers in Hetalia? Does not compute.
Actually, it's not the ridiculous shipping in Hetalia that bothers me. It's how some people in the fanbase like to tout themselves as incredibly well-informed on world history after watching a simplified, watered-down, comedic version of it.
I remember reading a Hetalia thread once about things Hetalia had taught posters, and holy sh*t I had no idea some people were so bad at history. One person remarked they had no idea that Italy had been involved in WW2. wtf.

I find that the fanbase like to twist historic facts for their shipping. such as Germany/Italy and oh how those two countries are close to each other. And yes it is troublesome that people can brag that they know a country based on the series without looking into the actual facts.
