Do you know any languages aside from English? If so, how many and how fluent are you? I only know a little German having taken it for two years.

Despite loving languages, I can't profess being fluent in anything but English. I've dabbled some in French, Japanese, Spanish and Latin, none of which I took long enough to gain any proficiency. Right now I take Latin, and will be doing a year's worth of coursework over the summer to skip into Latin 3 this fall. I'm hoping to continue Latin and pick Japanese back up in college. I'm seriously considering studying linguistics and the structure of language but it would be kind of stupid to do so without being fluent in at least something

I took four years of Latin in high school, one year of Spanish in college, and know a few words of Japanese.
Of all this, I remember:
Donde es el bano? (Where's the bathroom?) Donde es el cerveza? (Where's the beer?)
See how the mind works?
I really want to learn Japanese, though.

I've done some "dabbling" too. I'm not fluent in anything except maybe English.
I'd like to learn Korean and German - at least be able to understand both fluently, even if I'll always be off on pronouciation.

This is my fourth year of Japanese, I've been to the country twice and can speak to locals and random high school students XD and I was able to ask for games in Japanese and stuff. My teacher said you could drop me in Tokyo by myself and I'd be perfectly fine because I know how to navigate the subway and ask people for help. ^^;;
I really, really want to learn German because it sounds so cool. D:
I don't really like common languages. I like learning things not so many people know. XD; It's more interesting that way!

English and Filipino (Tagalog). I'm a lot more proficient with english than I with my native language, since I frequently get teased for misusing filipino words :/
I really want to learn Spanish, since I look more latino than I am asian.

Mmmmm... Let's See... Arabic Japanese And A Little From French You know Arabic too? YOU WIN. Let's see...I've got English, Arabic, and Spanish, but I'm only really fluent in English xD As far as Arabic goes, I can understand a full blown conversation or questions people ask me, but I lack the ability to reply. Don't ask, I don't know how this phenomenon works either. HOORAY FOR STILL LEARNING SPANISH! *shot*

I said, "Yeah, of course! I have learned two years of German. Wonderful, no?" Wow, I haven't taken German for a year but I still remember some.

I took four years of French in my high school. This is pretty much all I remember: "Je ne parle pas francais." XDD It was a fun class, but I didn't really learn from it. XDD
Currently, I'm trying to learn Japanese through a series of "teach yourself" books. Even though I've only briefly studied it--I think that I know more Japanese now than I do French. Sad, ain't it?
