Seems like a fair amount of us here are either juniors or seniors in high school. Anyone have any idea where they might be going to college, what they might study, etc? Alternatively, for people who are already in college, where do/did you go and what did you study?
Personally, I'm always cold unless it's 70 degrees or warmer, so I'm looking at colleges in D.C. and below in the East and California in the West. I also don't really want a school with population below 3000, given the difficulty many small schools would have in catering to my planned major. To this end, I'm focusing in on:
American University Wake Forest University Johns Hopkins (not likely I'll get admitted, but I can always try) University of Virginia (same thing as Hopkins) College of William and Mary University of Richmond Claremont McKenna Santa Clara Pomona Southern California Pitzer Elon Pepperdine University of Delaware (don't actually want to go here; it's my "oh my god what happened to my college app, I got rejected everywhere else" school)
As for my planned area of study, I've decided it'll be foreign language. I want to pursue as many foreign languages as I can, and, if I feel up to graduate school after 4 years, I may go into psycholinguistics (the study of how people acquire language).
You guys?

Going to the 50,000 strong University of Minnesota. Planning to be a history teacher. Will take my 4 year degree at the university, then go back to the nearby Normandale to get the teacher's license, since I heard it's better there.

Not sure exactly where i'm going yet but i should figure this out soon sinse i am a senior. Some, local, that I might go to are U of Washington, Washington State U, U of Idaho, Western Wash. U, or The Evergreen State College.
Though i heard there are a lot of good east coast colleges with great music programs, as i will be majoring in music composition.

Evergreen State College? I know someone who goes there right now Yeah, East Coast has some nice music programs. Johns Hopkins apparently has a pretty sick musical program... Peabody Institute or something like that. Alternatively, a few towns over from where I live, there's the Hartt School of Music. It's supposed to be pretty good from what I hear.

I think I'll transfer down to Full Sail University (Yes, I know my credits won't transfer, I don't really care) in Florida for a degree in Game Programming or some such thing.

I know someone who goes there too Small world. And ZxScarletxZ, isn't University of Tokyo pretty much the Harvard of Japan? Better hit the books I hear college in general is ridiculously hard to get into in Japan (as well as the other Asian countries). How easy is it to get into college in the Philippines, incidentally?

Once you graduate HS, it's straight to college for you. Take an entrance exam, if you pass, you're in. The Colleges that are really hard to get in are Ateneo and UP(University of the Philippines)... (I can't believe I actually passed in Ateneo O__o). The College of Music entrance exam is different, that's why I made it in UP. I failed when I took the UPCAT(UP College Assessment Test). The other schools are not that hard to get in to, but it's hard to get your first choice.

EDIT: I found this post to sound irritating.
I'll simplify it: I'm not in college. I have no idea what I want to do.
