I want to go back to when the Cherokees were running around, so I can meet some of my ancestors.
I don't think I can go back in time during historical events knowing what I know now unless I can only interact with objects and not people.
I'd go Herculaneum and Pompeii and get me some coins then leave before that day Vesuvius blew.
THAT'S what I would do. Get some rare coins that way. They'd be in mint condition, and I'd make some money when I got back.

Hm...well it would be nice to go back to the Regency era to visit but damn does the plumbing suck! And everyone would probably stink too! So how about traveling to the future?! Though it would be nice to meet Shakespeare and Geoffrey Chaucer....and a few other famous people.
Hm, I don't know about meeting my ancestors though....it seems like the women always get the short end of the stick....-_-

Feudal Japan, World War II era, the Industrial Revolution in America, or the Victorian era in Europe. Yeah. That's what I'd do, man. I wanna go to one of those huge, fancy dinner parties and wear one of those absolutely gorgeous dresses. D;
And ALSO WHEN PRUSSIA WAS STILL A COUNTRY. :< Preferably a bit before WWII, so that it doesn't get dissolved so quickly. Also, observing The Winter War and The Cold War would be nice. Anddd the war of Austrian Succession. ... The French Revolution too.
Okay so basically I like wars. Yeah. I'd like to go see those. Those are the ones that interest me most. XD
The future would be cool too, but, Becca DID say "go BACK". XD;;

This isn't at all related, is it?

Hola.
For me, there's really two time periods I want to be apart of.
One of those is the 1980s. Unfortunately, I came a decade late. The 80s had so much life in it. If I was in this decade, I would likely grow my hair out and go to some heavy metal concerts.
The 19th century US also interests me. There were a lot of great thinkers in this time. One of my favorites: Emerson. His concept of transcendentalism made so much sense when I first read his essays. Except for the civil war, the native rebellions, and the robbing of banks, everything else was fine.

Music--good Berlin Wall coming down--good Reaganomics--good at the time Reagan assassination attempt--Creepy Neon-colored clothes--bad Oversized shirts with sayings--bad George Michael wearing short-shorts--BAD! So, there's the 80's....LOL
