Seriously though, despite being skinny my stamina is atrocious. I once ran a kilometer in a cardboard Tetris L block costume before and it was not fun. That sounded like it was pretty difficult. Did you see people running in other Tetris blocks? The I block seems pretty doable, if you can run like a stick. As for the others, you could basically roll in the 2x2 square, but good luck fitting in the zig-zagging block (I don't know what you call it).

Running in cosplay sounds kind of cumbersome. What exactly are people wearing that they can comfortably run in? Unless it was a t-shirt and shorts, I think I'd probably melt :X Running? What is this concept? I've never heard of it! Seriously though, despite being skinny my stamina is atrocious. I once ran a kilometer in a cardboard Tetris L block costume before and it was not fun. I used to be the same way... couldn't run for more than a minute or two without becoming out of breath, even though I was thin. But I started running in late April, and while I initially started out painfully slow (jog for 5 minutes, walk for 5), I now run for an hour nonstop four times a week. I'd never have imagined I'd say it, but I now actually enjoy running simply for the sake of it. It always kind of sucks for the first ten minutes, but then the adrenaline rush hits you, and you feel no pain. Great stress reliever, too (anxiety management was actually the reason I started to begin with).

I kept hearing about how exercise does help with those who have depression or anxiety and I never knew why.
About running in an L block, it's essentially the same as the line block but you have more weight either to the left or right depending where that fourth block is.

I kept hearing about how exercise does help with those who have depression or anxiety and I never knew why. It's because exercise helps release endorphins, the so-called pleasure "feel-good" neurochemicals, in the brain. I think it may help regulate disturbed serotonin and norephinephrine reuptake as well, but it's hard to say. At the end of the day, we don't really know what causes depression or anxiety (and, accordingly, we also don't have a very good idea of how antidepressants work, other than that they do).

I noticed the feel-good factor of exercise today when I was playing soccer and frisbee today. I never really thought about how exercise does this until reading the posts here. There is something about playing sports like football and soccer that feels different than running, but I don't know what it is. Maybe it has something to do with the competition involved.

Probably, and it most likely also feels "easier" and less like work because you're focusing on something else, like the ball on the field or other players' positions, rather than the activity of running itself. I find I have to watch something or listen to music when I run to keep myself occupied :< I've gotten into listening to JAM Project when I run recently. It makes the entire run feel way more epic. (Then again, heavy music like that always does. When I worked a minimum wage job restocking a store in high school, Rhapsody of Fire made me feel like putting the milk away was as intense as fighting ogres.)

I've spent the past... oh, 7 hours on a statistics project. It's never a good sign when you're pulling your first all-nighter only three weeks into the semester. Nope.
Got a Spanish composition at 8 am I've only half-written, a chemistry quiz at 11 am I haven't studied for, and this stupid statistics project that I don't understand how to do due at noon. Feels good, man.
I really like statistics, but f**k if I know what I'm supposed to be doing with this statistics program. I'm pretty sure this thing was supposed to take an hour or two at max, not the ten I've put into it already.

Farming Nerusukyura for it's surprisingly cool looking armor. I didn't think a gigantic spider monster would give good armor. But my fear of spiders isn't helping when fighting this thing.
