Well, not today, but Wednesday night I finally found an apartment for next semester. Hallelujah.

Sounds about right.
Interestingly, Icelandic has changed so little over the past millennium that average Icelanders can read the Edda fairly well without prior training. English can't really boast the same thing about Beowulf, and while I suppose the Canterbury Tales are readable, your overall comprehension won't be that great.

Too bad Temple doesn't have any classes in it.

Just got back from Artswalk downtown which was awesome. Got to see my friend perform an acoustic set and got to watch the parade.
Probably the best thing I've seen all day was a guy who looked exactly like John Lennon (but without glasses) watching the parade from a tree.

Hung out with my friend all day in Central Park, went home, watched two movies together, and then talked until almost 7 in the morning over Skype.
I'm not a talkative person at all normally. There be some serious chemistry. Why, I might even dare say my icy stone of a heart might be thawing a little...

This isn't really a good thing, but it's good because I avoided something potentially very bad. And that is a job scam on Craigslist. A very original and hard-to-crack one.
People are getting more clever these days.

Forgot to post this the other day but when reading through the "BOYS ONLY THREAD" I had a good laugh.

That's some deep discussion going on. I don't see anything funny about that. Everyone is interested in the gender roles at some point in their lives.
semi-sarcasm

I have now...let's just say the definition of manliness varies a lot between cultures, because some of them sound too ridiculous even to me . I mean come on, I want to play Tales with my friends. ******* A good sauna after a 12 hour working day is like a bathtub full of honey *_*. It's easily the best feeling in the world. I could've sat there for few good hours and do nothing but relax... To be honest, I've never tried to bath in a tub full of honey and I doubt it would even be that relaxing, but you know what I mean.

I'm actually curious how many people here have been in sauna before? I guess it's not that popular outside of finland and some of the scandinavian countries. We have saunas pretty much in every home, even in small apartments. Then there's that japanese bathhouse sauna thing too, but that's a bit different. You should try a sauna at some point, if you have a chance. I bet there's some places there that have one.

I think that will only be available to me if I went to a Japanese based town (for example, China town), probably in the city. I don't think I'm able to experience Finland's saunas...
