Only a few games manage to irritate me. Monster Hunter and "clones" (God Eater, Lord of Arcana) can get me pretty mad at times, but the angriest I ever got at a game (due my own stupidity, honestly) was when I was playing Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and fighting Gohdon, the head and hands boss. You have to hit the "eyes" in his hands then his actual eyes to get a chance to damage him permanently, but I didn't realize L targeting worked with the bow. After many, many tries, I managed to defeat him by aiming entirely manually. I didn't realize you could auto aim until much later.

Every 3D Zelda since Ocarina of Time has had Z-Targeting.

I broke my controller while playing Catherine, Day 3, boss stage specifically. The fact that the baby was the creepiest thing I've ever seen didn't help much.

I dont, except when it comes to EA's FIFA series in which the CPU always finds a way to cheat. I am good tempered when playing RPG video games, even though I am getting somewhat annoyed by the fact that I cannot get a 'Green Upgrade' from Star Ocean Second Evolution after like 1000 tries, lol.

I remember the days when I got irritated by things. Ah, good times, good times.
Wait, no, those days were terrible.

I do miss your angry rants, though.

i almost broke a controller over fishing in NieR, but besides that I don't get frustrated that easily
who thought it was a good idea to have a 2 pixel wide white fishing pole against extremely bright water?

Well it wont hurt to rant at times, holding it for too long and you will explode. XD You misunderstand. I simply don't get angry anymore. I don't have anything to hold back.

I don't get irritated playing all too much. But I do get irritated after thinking about it and realizing how stupid some things are. Also, dying repeatedly and then dying without have save is pretty irritating.

^ Rockband...oh, I feel a rant coming.
The reason why Rockband is so difficult is because there isn't any room for musical inflection--it treats the fretboard, the drum kit, like a controller and you have to hit every note clean for it to be registered. If you don't, it will just sound a dead string instead of a clean note even if you are off by only a little bit.
In the real world, if musicians "mess-up," they are given some flux room, either quickening/slowing-down the tempo to accommodate the mistake (if it is rhythmic) or even making the mistake sound like it is isn't one by repeating it or using it as a chromatic to get to a correct note.
Can't do any of that in Rock Band. It's too far on the technical side, but performing music isn't strictly a technical process.
Another thing I could talk about are the major differences between the Rock Band guitar (even the newest ones) and a real guitar, but I'll save that for another time.

My inability to keep a steady beat is reflected in both actual music making and in Rock Band, so the two are essentially the same for me. Either way, I suck.

Well, you know, Rock Band isn't a game about making music or playing an instrument.
It's a rhythm game first and foremost and the instrument controller is just a way to make it less abstract.

I'm not even sure which games irritate me. Fighting games are probably top of the list, but I still play and have some fun with them. The really irritating part is playing against others, but that's because I've never really tried. Sadly, I doubt I know any amateurs in fighting games that are willing to play, so I can only go up against people better than me, or teachers.
