It wasn't Sora who annoyed me. It was GOOFY. How I despised Goofy. D: How could you despise Goofy?! He's probably the only great thing of the game. (I played it up till Alice's Castle in KH, and that's all I have to say.)

He has never, in any given point in the series, said anything intelligent or useful. He is the definition of Captain Obvious.

SNK
I'm a big fan of SNK for their fighting games, and applying the King of Fighters gameplay in the "Tales of" battle system would be like a dream come true for me. The PSone Tales of Destiny kinda felt like that when I had the "Combo Command" accessory equipped.

He has never, in any given point in the series, said anything intelligent or useful. He is the definition of Captain Obvious. But he's the only person who understands any of these obvious things. Whenever he points something out that is incredibly obvious, everyone around him is like WOAH I HAD NO IDEA. Goofy is the most intelligent and perceptive character in the franchise.

Though I'm not really sure if they would do well with a JRPG series but hey Capcom did make Breath of Fire, Monster Hunter and a Megaman RPG. Maybe SNK could do the same.

Well, I'll say two things from them: *Crystalis *A Samurai Shodown RPG They have dabbled in RPGs. Just not as much.

uh, they're pretty damn enthusiastic about it, what are you talking about? Have you even heard Aksys talk about Ys or Heroes? Dudes are all over it and Falcom's behind them 100%. The only way they could be working harder is if the games actually made a decent amount of money, which is not something Legend of Heroes does (Ys is much, much safer, relatively [in addition to having much less text], which is why Akysys has been able to get so many out in such a short period). Well perhaps enthusiastic is a controversial word to use, but whatever. The truth is that Falcom lacked the same financial foundation as Square Enix. Of course Namco would love to localize their games too if they sell well, what makes a difference? So its the market you have to explore, cant expect the game to sell extraordinarily well without sufficient budget to spend on both marketing and the game itself. It sure can happen occasionally, but the chance is slim. It is like a short-long term benefit dilemma. Making an average game with less costs of production can be more profitable, or at least less risky, but in a long run it is perhaps not a good idea. This is what Namco has been doing, but without promise of sales it is indeed difficult to look for a change. I do believe whoever making the tales series should focus more on quality than quantity, releasing a new game every 3-4 years is an acceptable rate to me. Not that my words can make any impact to their decisions, its ultimate for them to figure out the direction of tales series anyway. I just say whatever I have in mind while trying not to offend anyone. XD

I think what Namco Bandai should do is give the Tales series a break, in all honesty. That or dedicate more time and focus to one game. Though I really don't care what they do; I haven't played a Tales game in ages.

It wasn't Sora who annoyed me. It was GOOFY. How I despised Goofy. We're not friends anymore. also I'm willing to overlook this distinct lack of taste on your part. Goofy can be forgotten. The friendship is safe as long as you don't like pulp in your orange juice. Unlike Hiro, who has zero class. That is the deciding factor.

Try actually making a game with better quality than to produce average games every 1-2 years. But again its up for Namco to decide, money talks in video gaming industry so its nothing more about the profitability.

They can't even finish their own games properly.
