Do any of you listen to the radio? Whether it be regular FM/AM Radio, Satellite Radio, or Internet Radio, still tuning in?
I'm starting to tune in to radio a lot more recently, since I kinda grown tired of just listening to the same tracks I have in my MP3 player all the time.
I tend to listen to the jazz and retro stations in my local radio, while I look for chillout music on internet radio stations. I'm also listening to A LOT of talk radio, especially if it's Opie and Anthony (and sometimes Howard Stern or Alex Jones).

I listen to radio when rolling around in a car, but not much else. I have a pretty extensive music collection so I usually don't have to resort to broadcast to shake things up. Some days I might listen to the Beatles, other days anime singles, some days classical, some days game soundtracks, some days stylized arrangements/remixes of other songs.
I enjoy a good comedic radio show now and then though. National Public Radio has some fun ones, though I'm not sure if it's available outside the US.

I listen to radio when rolling around in a car, but not much else. it's the only place where one remembers the radio....it just fills the role of a car.

I don't doubt the fact that I may have 20-25GB of music and... I couldn't believe it, but I think I probably heard them all, some of them more than once!! And here's me just realizing that I was collecting all that music for nearly 10 years now With that said, I kinda grew tired of just selecting my tunes and just want to go hands free for a while. I let a local or internet radio station just select the music for me. If it's a themed station that I like (like 80s, game, chill, talk, etc.), I wouldn't change the dial for a while, so radio had been putting in the hours for me for the past couple of months.

On the way to and from work, I listen to satellite radio. Listening to some pop, hip hop and rap. The only problem is that their playlists are almost ALWAYS the same everyday. Aside from the occasional interview, I might as well just crank up my own playlist instead.

Ah, yeah, that's part of the reason why I don't listen to radio, really. When I worked in high school, my coworkers would always have the radio on. It would play the same stuff over and over. I thought I'd lose my mind. I don't know how many times I've heard Kei$ha's Tik-Tok or Katy Perry's California Gurls, but let me assure you, it was too many.
Actually, since the last time I posted in this thread, I've actually really grown to like last.fm's radio. Unlike Pandora, which thought that because I like the soundtracks from Disney Renaissance movies, I would of course by extension also really enjoy children's songs from Sesame Street and other similar shows, last.fm does a fabulous job at finding what I like.
I also found a couple iPhone apps that allow me to stream Greek radio, but that also eats up my battery like nobody's business, so :<

Pandora's always been good at giving me what I want.

I'm sure Opie and Anthony can be heard up there. Anyway, some favorite OnA bits : Jim Norton Tree Rant Inaccurate Predictions Of The Future The World of Maybe (with Patrice O'Neal)
