I'm generally really slow at making posts. On average it takes me 5-10 minutes (maybe more) to make an average-size post. I think this is because I am highly perfectionist and try to correct every single grammatical/spelling/punctuation error. I know there are those who can whip up 2 paragraphs in a few minutes, but that is not me.
So how long does it take for you to make a post, on average?

I usually just write what comes out of my head and post. If I made any mistakes then the edit button saves the day. On average, I'd say about 1-3 minutes per post as long as it's not a giant wall 'o text.

Mmm... depends on how much attention I'm paying to the post. I have a tendency to post one-liners though, and they take me less than 30 seconds to make

I used to do this, but I don't always trust whatever comes out of my head because sometimes it's stupid and once it's seen, it's seen. I also have trouble organizing my thoughts which makes me take more time writing a post.

I get that too and whenever I try post some answers for some people on GameFAQs I usually get ninja'd. Hence why I go for fast post and edit later. I'm very sure if you look through my posts here on AC you'll see that quite a few of them are edited as well.

Not long at all. I just bang it out and post, generally. I hate seeing the "edited by" thing, though, so I'll often delete and repost if I do need to edit for some reason. I've had people on here post in reply to me before I could repost, though, which makes things confusing fast :<

For regular old forum posts, anywhere from 5 seconds to 10 minutes depending on the length of the post.
For RP posts, anywhere from 10 seconds to 3 and a half hours. Not exaggerating at all, either.
I worry about everything I say.

It takes me a minute or two to type and proofread the message, but it takes an hour or more to decide if I should post or not.

but it takes an hour or more to decide if I should post or not. Nah, really? Sometimes I actually do this if I am posting in a sensitive topic or something else.

It mostly depends on how I'm feeling. Sometimes it takes me about a minute. Other times, it takes me about a half an hour to post.

I've typed up ridiculously comprehensive stuff about all kind of things and then x'd out. So for me it takes a while.

Usually I end up having to rewrite a decent bit of my posts because I: come off too strongly, go on too many tangents, repeat myself from earlier posts, can condense or cut sentences, and so on. Mostly though it's the first. I have very strong opinions, and I constantly have to check myself to make certain I'm not unintentionally riling or insulting other people.

About 30 minutes. I tend to always consult my sentences in English Stackexchange or Urban Dictionary to see if what I said actually made sense. If you guys find some sort of errors in my posts please tell me as I'm trying to get better at English!

^ You're doing well from what I've seen, keep it up.
It depends, whenever I get the chance to go on it's more so to just check up on things. When I do have the time to actually sit down and read, if I have anything to contribute to the topic, I'll write whatever's on my mind and do some edits here or there depending on how horrible my grammar is. 2-3 minutes for responses, and of course it varies depending on the content.
