That was End of Evangelion. That's not canon with the recent series of Eva movies. Different Shinji.
Rebuild of Evangelion's Shinji's better than the original anyways. He's not as much of a boneless jellyfish.

Most excellent that it's not canon, then, as that scene, in Shinji's own words, was pretty f*cked up.

Elevator to the Gallows.
French film noir, circa 1958.

Office Space.
Still a very funny movie for me.
Yeah, they're probably going to need me to come in on Saturday.

Ulysses' Gaze
Hailed as a masterpiece, apparently. I had no clue what was happening at any given point in the movie. idk if the movie was dubbed over from Greek to English with the director not presiding over voice acting choices, or if the director just chose a really terrible English-speaking actor the first time around, but the main character was awful at acting. He seemed utterly incapable of rousing any sort of emotion in his acting. He just sounded bored. All the time.
Colorful Also a movie I didn't like. It's about a guy who commits suicide and comes back as a soul that has to reaccept his body and life, basically. I think suicide is always a pretty interesting topic and that the movie had a promising premise, but the character development was really disorganized. You'd think he was coming to terms with his life, and then he'd regress, then come to terms, then regress. The majority of the time, he was an a**hole to everyone for no good reason. Then at the end, he just magically decides everything's okay.
I've also never wanted to punch a character in the face as much as I did the main character in that movie. The movie made him into such a huge jerk that I couldn't rouse any sympathy for him at all.

The Vanished Empire
As usual, might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.
The Devil Inside (...something something. I keep forgetting the full title)
Watched this in theatres. Interesting, but flawed and not half as creepy or scary as I wanted it to be. I wish they made it more believable, even for a faux documentary. The shaky camera work, and effort to make it seem "authentic", might make some people dizzy and nauseous.

Equus.
Had to watch it for a psychology assignment.
I cannot finish. It is that boring.

He never has sex with a horse, though! He has sex with a girl in front of horses and blinds them all because he feels like they're judging him!
Or, at least that was what happened in as far as I got. There were still 40 minutes left to go. Maybe he had sex with horses after I stopped watching.

The Matrix Reloaded. I watched The Matrix and The Animatrix before so I would know what the heck was going on when I finally got around to watching The Matrix Revolutions.
The DVD has sat on my shelf for over a month gathering dust >>;
