Star Ocean 3 The sad thing is, I was only seven or so hours in. The dungeons were just too annoying, I couldn't get past them! >< I remember now, I gave up on that one too! I hated the dungeons so much... so very, very much.

I gave up on beating the final boss in FF3. If I want to see the ending I'll just look it up on youtube. XD Gwah, that one's a jerk. The DS version is probably even worse, because it's super-easy until the final dungeon, and then the final bosses are all more or less the same as they were on the famicom D :.

Crucis Fatal Fake. No matter what, I just can't seem to actually get better. No one else really helps, it's always just 'practice practice practice.'
Why don't those stupid experts actually TELL ME THE PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS OF THE FEATURES OF THE GAME, HUH?! WHAT TO LOOK FOR, WHERE IT CAN BE USED, HOW IT CAN BE USED TO HELP ME? MAYBE STOP CONCENTRATING ON YOUR STUPID COMBOS THAT I CAN BARELY GET THE CHANCE TO USE, ESPECIALLY IF SYSTEM LAG ISN'T SCREWING UP MY TIMING? HUH?!
Good thing I downloaded it, huh? Would of been a complete waste of 50 bucks to buy it.

Hrm, I gave up on Azure Dreams before, and Alundra 2... Basically a few of the PS1 games I own. For the PS2 and up, I rarely give up on them (although at times when I get bored I have this 2-3 months gap before playing it again >_>).
As long as there's a story behind it, I'll continue it (it's what basically got me to finish Baroque despite the argrrghhhhh dungeon crawl from the 1st floor not agaaiinnn)

Riviera: the Promised Land.
Great game, but you're SOL if you're underleveled. You literally have to start the game over because you can't go back and grind. I had to throw in the towel because I was too weak to beat a boss.
I'd like to try the game again someday, though.

^Topic Necromancer^ And, no, I don't. Think it was on the front page anyway, so like it matters. Plus, more activity here is probably a good thing. In whatever way we can find.

Like, there's literally a menu option for grinding.

I think I maxed out the weapons I'd had or something. I don't really remember the specifics now, just that I was screwed.

You must have thrown weapons away or broken them without maxing them.

I gave up in Event 51 of SSBM. I came back the next day with a completely different mindset and beat it by the bear skin of winning.
