It seems the English script writers didn't research Melnics or had to figure it out on their own... It doesn't help listeners and fans of the language that the actors are inconsistent in their pronunciations. I mistook Galenos' "e"s for "i"s more than once in his last lines...
Now, let's compare to the Japanese version. Subtitle translations will be the same, since I don't know Japanese. For reference, I used
