... this guy wasn't even much of a threat in the beginning nor did he try to interfere with the party in any way, rather he helped them. Then all a sudden, in the end, he decides to pull a Face Heel Turn (sort of), and be the final boss.
............
Gawd, I hate Vesperia plot. It's only redeeming factor (imo) is its character. The only real douche was Alexei... (most especially in the movie. Why does Flynn respect him in game when he was a jerk to him in the movie?)

Regarding the mystery of the vanishing Dedechi, I heard that they added a conclusion to that subplot in the PS3 release. Apparently, they catch the guy, Rita beats him up or something, and he gets arrested.
As for why Zagi was looking for Flynn, it was just because he wanted to fight someone who he could go all out with. That's all Zagi really is: an extra boss to fight. <8(
Everything else, I'd like to know about, too. u_u;

to be honest, Vesperia's plot is such a garbled mess that I don't even bother pondering the things that don't make sense. There's too many of them.

^ that's Flynn for you.....obeying the law is a must to him...even if he got kicked for it .... with that said dude, Flynn is like a total idiot. -___- I blame the movie. I have many quarrels with the movie, especially how Flynn acts and is portrayed in it. He's angry at his dad for saving people lives and decides to hold a grudge against him. So he disobeyed orders and died in the process, but the point is he saved lives. Would Flynn would've been more happy if his dad lived and possibly countless other lives gone? Would that made him happier and less of naggy wife? I swear, all the fights between Yuri and Flynn were ALL brought on by Flynn himself. I really do not like the movie. Repede was really the best thing in it.to be honest, Vesperia's plot is such a garbled mess that I don't even bother pondering the things that don't make sense. There's too many of them. ^ ...I.. should do this too.....

Did anyone like the movie? From Sam and the Colonel's running commentary, it sounded like trash.

I actually like the movie~ Could be 'cause I've really grown to like Nylen and Hisca... <3 I am of the opinion they should've left Estelle, Raven and Rita out though.
As for Flynn... Well, it is a prequel right? I'm sure the events in First Strike did affect his way of thinking a LOT.

well the movie was at least better 1000000 times than other Tales animes like ToS & ToP OVAs....

I liked Flynn better when it felt like he was following his OWN sense of justice and not because he had a daddy complex.
@kindo: TOS OVA was good though DD: (so they left out some stuff, but it was still good and didn't feel rush at all... at least for me.)

No offense, but I have to disagree strongly on that one. ToS's OVA was incredibly rushed.
The only anime with good pacing is Eternia's, and that's because they didn't follow the plot.

It didn't explain how Rita new what Aer Krene was in the movie when in game she had no idea what it is and had to research it.
