Yeah but what sucks about it? Do I not get any cutscenes? Are the sprites less detailed? I figure that for $8 USD it's worth to get for the GBA especially if the game hasn't been abridged. A few things I'll mention: The battle system is lagging and, despite feeling primitive, is actually worse. Oh yeah, and they tried to cram all the functions on a PS1 controller (10 buttons total, not including push in sticks) onto 6 buttons (A, B, L, R, Select, Start). The sprites are less detailed due to trying to put PS1 sprites on GBA and came washed out. Sloppy localization. We already covered bad voice acting (and I don't consider it bad in the "So bad it's awesome" department like Resident Evil 1 on PS1 and I prefer cartoon M. Bison/dictator over out of character Dhaos, just FYI). The writing was pretty lousy too. Don't get me started on Kangaroo. That's just one major blemish on a pretty dull script (let's just say, someone was falling asleep spell-checking the script on Microsoft Word. Go on, type Ragnarok in Word, spell-check it and see which word they suggest first). And I did try to like it on its own term but I just rather forget that this version existed. Then again, I pretty much figure most of the Tales fans don't care about this installment these days.

Well I'd like to play it and the GBA version is the easiest to obtain for me unless you guys know where to get this magical PSX version.

I suggest playing the GBA version before the rest if you plan on playing it more than once. That way, you'd find the psp version more awesome xD

Yeah, PSX emulators hate me too. D:
Regardless of the hate for the GBA version, I actually enjoyed that one. ._.

Would you help please? The one I used to use is called PSX (believe it or not) and it doesn't need confusing configuration and it runs most games.

Finally got the game! But....it keeps erasing every time I turn it off....>_> Well my little bro got it for the dreamcast so that's probably why! *sigh* I will never get to finish it unless I don't ever turn it off but then it'll overheat and die! X__X

It should be fine. I left my PS2 on for two and a half weeks straight once.
I also left my 360 on for about a week once. I don't remember why I did that one though.

I tried to play the GBA version, but I couldn't get into it. The battle system just drove me crazy, especially how the entire battle stops every time one of your mages casts a spell.

I would suggest against playing original Destiny then.

I would suggest against playing original Destiny then. Yeah. I got the director's cut for the PS2.
