I've had recurring nightmares about elevators for a long time. They all go the same way, someone tries to get in and trips, with the door closing around their leg. The elevator goes up and... You get the picture.
Other dreams I have involve waking up in a pale grey mist, where I wander for a while, occasionally passing by wells and pieces of Victorian architecture. It's fairly peaceful, with what I believe to be a music box in the background.
There is another nightmare I've had, but it stopped recently.

I was back in college and had apparently signed up for some class that I had not bothered to attend all semester for some reason. The entire dream was spent desperately trying to complete big, involved assignments due in mere minutes in time for the class
I'll always be a grade sleeper worrying about grades long after actual school, I suppose

I was back in college and had apparently signed up for some class that I had not bothered to attend all semester for some reason. The entire dream was spent desperately trying to complete big, involved assignments due in mere minutes in time for the class I'll always be a grade sleeper worrying about grades long after actual school, I suppose I wake up to dreams of being in school again worrying about this one class I seem to have neglected to attend throughout a semester or failing to finish an important project with utmost anxiety and a cold sweat, until I gradually realize that I'm no longer in school. Despite that, I wish I was back in school again.

I don't think I want to be back in school again. I like learning, but working--at least, what I currently do, since I've certainly had jobs before where I thought my brain was going to melt--is so much more satisfying. I not only get to learn things constantly, but I also get to enact real changes based on what I learn. In school, you can only do the former.
