zerinerifes, please do not go off-topic. Rowan, that's enough.
also... online petitions never work. It's just a fantasy, it's not something that was made official.

If you guys want a petition to do any good, you ought to create an offline one. Internet ones tend to be spammed by spambots and have people who don't put in their real name or post more than once under different aliases. They don't really end up meaning anything to the companies or organizations you're trying to convince.
Offline petitions are sort of impractical given the geographic distribution of Tales fans, but they hold a lot more credibility.

Whenever a topic about an online petition comes up, I always find myself refusing to sign one since it's a complete waste. Now, I also have the need to link to Snopes.com's thing about online petition. It's a pretty detailed explanation on the phenomenon and summed it up talking about the following in regards to petitions: *A way to quickly express outrage (hey, doesn't forums do this too? ) *Instant gratification for feeling like they made a difference. *Aimed at the wrong place. *Problems with petitions in general (not just e-petition) Heck, back in 2003, I refused to sign a particular online petition regarding Tales of Destiny 2 and I never did. Besides, if you want to make a difference, you're really going to need to bend over a lot. (Oh yeah, feel free to bookmark the Snopes link in case another petition is linked to give the most detailed explanation about why an e-petition doesn't exactly work).
