I don't know what songs were sang, but I heard some pretty bad karaoke today in the commons building at my college. One person that sang was either so horribly out of tune or they were singing in completely different key. I ate my lunch outside.

I hate the song "Just What I Needed" by the Cars. It always used to play on a car dealership commercial here that aired. all. the. time. I don't even like the Cars very much anyway in the first place.
The Talking Heads' "Our House in the Middle of the Street." I would really be hard-pressed to find a more irritating song. It's just the same lyrics sung badly over and over.
"It's a Small World After All." I first heard this song when I went to Disney World in 1997, and the song has haunted me ever since. What an awful song.

The song someone driving by was blasting. I can't really describe the lyrics. It was a pretty generic rap song.

Commercialized gangsta rap.
I prefer the underground hip hop stuff I've been hearing from my friend's CDs, where it's actually poetry done to a beat as well being more in tune with reality, which I can relate, unlike the commercialized, materialistic sell-out crap being blasted in stereos (usually with broken bass) everywhere.

To be honest, I'd probably like hip hop more if the genre wasn't so polluted by the stuff you mentioned. What that music does is make one form the opinion that all hip hop is garbage, which I know isn't true. But if you're someone like me that never was exposed to the good stuff, you end up forming the mentioned opinion, out of ignorance, I suppose.
I don't think it's right to say that there isn't one good song in any style of music, even if the style is covered in crap. What makes a song good is if it has meaning, if it is an expression of art, regardless of the genre.

Just for the fun of it, I'm gonna revive the thread. No. 6's OP. WTF. That girl's part. It's annoying me.

what about the part where it's the most awful song Sakuraba has ever composed in his life and a crystallization of the man's growing frustration and ennui with the Tales franchise.
