I don't know that I have any characters that I particularly hate, but most games have one character that gets on my nerves more than the others. I expect people to disagree greatly with some of my opinions, so just meet me in the field after class and we can resolve our differences with some good ol' fisticuffs. Or we could be boring adults and respect the opinions of others... I guess...
Symphonia - Colette. She was just TOO innocent. Add to that her clumsiness and it was just a perfect mixture of 'bleh'. I still felt bad when Lloyd shot her down at every opportunity during my second playthrough so I could get a different pairing. Seriously Lloyd? I mean, come on man, you don't have to be THAT much of an [inconsiderate person].
Abyss - Anise. I could write an essay on this one, but I'll just assume you can guess why since Anise doesn't seem particularly popular anyway.
Vesperia - Karol. Karol definitely isn't bad. In fact, compared to everybody else on this list, he's good. I really liked a lot of his scenes with Yuri, and his evolution from a whiny coward to capable of standing on his own was decently handled. It's just... did he have to be so young? Like, must we have a kid in every single Tales? I know Rita was young too, but she wasn't THAT young...
This one is kinda like being the weakest link in a chain made of pure diamond.
Graces - Pascal. A lot of people like Pascal but I never found her funny, and without that there's really nothing else there. She's supposed to be endearing, but to me she was just annoying. I get that humour is extremely subjective, but there wasn't any character growth or internal conflict to grow attached to. By the end of the game she's exactly the same as she was at the start.
Xillia - I didn't have much of a problem with any of the main cast (aside from the whole 'we gotta have a young child!' thing), but Ivar... uuuuuuggggghhhhh
Xillia 2 - GUESS WHO'S BAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!
