So, I have been playing Chronicles, specifically Symphonia, and I just realized that their Magic Lenses don't last? At least whenever it's a new battle and I come across a creature I scanned before it doesn't tell me the stats....Was this always like that for the GC version or?
Also, I don't know what's going on, but when I sort Raine's "Strategy" into Support she never recovers any of my characters when they're under a status effect....specifically when they're poisoned, and it's gotten kind of irritating forcing her to recover during the battle when as an NPC she should be able to do it....
Thanks for future responses by the way!

I actually noticed the AI differences, though at the time I wasn't sure whether that was the case or if I had been spoiled by the improved AI in more recent games. Glad I'm not the only one.
About magic lenses, I actually don't think they lasted in the original either. I remember being surprised that enemy data was retained when I was playing Abyss.

Thanks so much for responding! I guess after playing Abyss and so on, I've been comforted with the idea that magic lenses would last forever.
:/ It's kind of frustrating, the AI not paying attention to status effects as carefully as it did before.

Both of these issues were in the Gamecube and PS2 versions. Symphonia AI is notoriously bad in all versions and the magic lenses are only permanent as of Abyss (possibly Rebirth but I haven't played that to confirm. In any case, the change was made after Symphonia). It would have been nice if they had corrected all this for the HD remaster, but they didn't put that much effort into it.

Friendly AI wasn't all that great, so it was just easier to have them set on a preset AI, and Lenses were only good for spotting what the enemy was weak to and their health.

It ended up being easier to manually manage support magic. No use waiting for the AI in ToS.
