Just finished Durarara!! X2 and the fact that I'm Impatiently waiting for the second cour to start next July proves that the series is one of my favorites. Was waiting for all the episodes to be out before I started, which I intend to do tonight, though I'm not looking forward to the wait between each cour... Feels like all I'm doing lately is waiting.

I only got to watch the first 12 episodes of Fate/Zero, but I know a fair bit about Fate overall, and can say im a fan of it. I also downloaded Fate/Extra and am having fun with it, despite not being much of a game imo. Don't know if I can be called a Type Moon fan yet, as Fate is all I really know, but I love their storytelling and the interesting lore and such the Nasuverse holds. May check out Tsukihime at some point.

Gurren Lagaan has my heart, but Hellsing Ultimate has my soul.

When I watched Gurren Lagann the first time I didn't know it was supposed to be a parody. Parody or not, it is the greatest mecha anime I've watched.
I started Kill la Kill just to get a few laughs and damn... it really pokes with heavy sticks. I've been smiling on multiple occasions when I got another reference or trope they are poking at. No way I can take it as seriously as Gurren Lagann.

May check out Tsukihime at some point. Tsukihime is still my favorite VN. It's a lot more amateur in nature than Fate- Fate definitely has more of a broad appeal, but I love Tsukihime's cast and Shiki's earnest and sensitive nature resonates with me better than Shirou, who is as rigid as a man with swords for brains might be- they come out differently in the writing, even with the distinctive Nasu stylings (Kara no Kyoukai also reads differently- and that has more than one perspective). Also, Tsukihime spun off my favorite fighting game of them all- Melty Blood. The momentum-based fights, combined with the lovely animation work by French Bread (makers of one of my other favorite doujin games, Ragnarok Battle Offline!) make my heart sing every time I play it... Ah, how I miss playing it online with our friend snoozysam. It does suffer from a large number of clone characters, like many doujin fighters (Yatagarasu is pretty egregious... I play the same as you, but I'm a charge character!), but by the later games each character has three distinct movesets and the clones have a life of their own beside that... My own main is a doppelganger, anyways.
