hey guys! i very recently made a ~35 minute long video about the tales series and what i feel are its top 5 main installments! i'd really appreciate feedback and general thoughts, because i'm very new to this reviewing video games in video format process! i actually only started posting a couple of months back. and this was actually the first video ever conceptualized for my channel. so if you're interested, feel free to check it out over here on youtube! and thanks so much in advance!

Overall you speak clearly, don't have a grating voice, and a solid recording set-up, which puts you ahead of most of the curve. In terms of areas of improvement...
My single biggest criticism is that the video is too long. Personally I only want to watch a 35 minute Youtube video if it offers some kind of in-depth analysis, which isn't really what you're going for. You speak clearly, but slowly, and leave too many silent spots. Also consider when and where to let the game volume kick in and for how long. These are just minor things which you'll probably develop a feel for as you go.
Scripting is another area where you can cut a lot of time. In particular, I feel like you spent too long introducing each game. Remember, all you're trying to do is give the uneducated viewer enough context to understand your arguments, so keep it straight-forward and relevant. For instance, it's not necessary to understand the workings between humans and spirits in Xillia, as it's a nuance that never really ties into your arguments. Furthermore, consider opportunities to condense information and sentences. "Tales of Vesperia portrays a world in which rampaging monsters have forced humans to reside behind barriers generated by an ancient technology known as 'blastia'" conveys the same message in much less space.
Those are my thoughts on how you can improve in terms of the video itself. In terms of content, it's really up to you. Putting Legendia at #5 for purely nostalgic reasons isn't the type of hard-hitting analysis that sparks my interest, but ultimately it's YOUR list and needs to be done YOUR way...
... except that Yuri is most definitely the protagonist of Vesperia. Even if Estelle is the magic macguffin and a good deal of the game is spent on her evolution, the story is primarily about how Yuri's adventures challenge his initial naivete of a strictly black-and-white, 'us and them' world (at least until the third act jettisons everything in favour of a heavy-handed message about environmentalism). Plus he's the glue that holds everyone together. I've said it a few times in the past, but Yuri is the only Tales protagonist who actually feels like a leader.
But hey, that's just, like, my opinion man.
