Okay...Ju can scan the Vesperia manga (Normal Vesperia manga, Flynn manga, 4-koma), and Kai and I will scan the Asch, Phantasia, and RM manga.
This can be what we scan from now on...
...though I don't know if we can get the 4th issue. I'm trying to save money...

Ah, Zan -- Ju-da-su just told me that she has a lot of work...Is it possible that you scan all the series in ToM this month?

So scan all the manga in Vol.2? Go ahead and do the third volume. Heck, scan all of the coloured pages and anything relative to Tales series, and give the non-manga to Abby.

You know, you guys shouldn't waste time to scan the non-manga cause I'm already doing it and Abby also puts them up on AC. Plus, no offense, I debind my copy to scan so my scans will always be better than yours. Did you even pay attention/acknowledged it when Nagi was complaining that you guys had moved the original (the magazine) for some of the pages when you were scanning the manga from Vol 1? She was really peeved about that.

I can't believe that I just had to go back 6 pages to get what you meant. Goodness I'm losing it. DDDX
"A little bit of advice is to check your scans after they've been scanned. Some of the scans show lines across the manga where they've been moved while being scanned."
I do acknowledge that in a few pages, lines looked a bit bent, though I probably didn't remember well enough since all I remember is having to redraw lines on the sides to fix the gutter shadows.
@sok & Zan: For the stories that are more towards the center of the magazine, is it possible to try and get less of a gutter shadow? Apply more pressure, adjust the angle? (I don't care if the scan ends up totally sideways in the process either it can be easily fixed by cropping) It's not uncleanable, but the total time for cleaning doubles/triples when my lazy rear ends up redrawing. This doesn't apply to anything you've already scanned up to today -- so don't worry about rescanning. ^-^""
Aaaaagh, I'm having the worst of luck with most translators it seems. One of the ones who signed in to work on ToM disappeared before it was even scanned and then deriku had to tend to his studies...That means Ju-da-su is currently the only translator I keep in contact with (while I haven't heard from Carabbit in a long while). With volume 2 being scanned now, I should hurry up and finish ToA ch00 soon so I can post a capslocked update/request for help.
(I feel so useless at organizing now...)

I already killed my back scanning 20 pages today. Also, sorry about the page moving thing. It was my first time scanning manga. Everything I've scanned since then hasn't been like that.

. . . *read through* . . . " And I actually am uber busy with all the works as well . . . >_<" (good thing my brother helped me to translate two of the mangas I was supposed to translated to Thai . . . but . . . 5 chapters of Fairy Tail left and 3 monthly manga just come in 3 different times in the month and always keep me busy and I still feel really, really guilty about ToV ch.3 I did for Rena and I still didn't even get ToI ch.11 translation started yet and I'm falling behind with the Flynn one and I didn't start on TotA ch.15 translation yet) . . . *feel horrible* . . . I'M SORRY, MIKEN~~~ DX (Actually want to help you more with ToM but I would probably kick myself really hard if I take up anything new before any series that I'm currently translating is done . . . >_<") I'll try to get the translations of something done for WoaA sometimes . . . maybe ToI (because that actually is supposed to be a monthly translation for WoaA, but . . . >.>") I'M SORRY, MIKEN~~~~~~ TTTT______TTTT And . . . I'm sorry to both of you two, Kai and Zan . . . for not being able to help . . . >_<" But . . . yeah, IMO, you don't need to scan the whole thing. I mean . . . I thought the manga is enough and Rena is doing the non-manga stuff already anyway. Plus, as she said, no offense, but the quality of her RAW is probably higher than yours because it's debinded pages vs. not-debinded pages (so, expect gutter shadows . . . >.>"). And . . . iirc, you can make the magazine really, really wide-open to get the gutter shadow less . . . meaning, opening it more . . . but I think the only way to complete eliminate gutter shadow is to tear the pages out and scan them . . . >.>" PS. Strange thing . . . I think ToI just . . . stopped . . . I mean, there hadn't been any update for a while now . . . >.>"

Ju-da-su, I think the next chapter of ToI is on December 4th.
And yes, don't scan everything, especially if you don't debind your copy to scan. Pressing down the magazine hard without moving by accident while it scans takes a lot of energy. Believe me, I've did that before in the past. I was one not so happy camper, although I'll need to scan my ToV Jap Guidebook that way for the stuff I want to do...haha.
Since my copy is already debinded in the first place, just let me handle the non-manga stuff (Abby has put up my ToM Vol 1 non-manga scans for AC), especially since I know you guys probably won't want to debind your copy, plus it's probably more expensive for you guys to get a copy compared to me where I can get it locally from a bookstore.
As for the original moved thing, just be careful. Nagi was peeved because you didn't reply to her whether you've acknowledged her on that comment. Believe me, I know. She had told me that when I had asked her about the Flynn Ch 1 double page where I told her that you can just use the draw borders down the middle method if you can't redraw a double page. It's better than not joining it at all.
Also, there really is no way to completely have no gutter shadow while scanning without debinding your copy before scanning. You'll still get at least a black line or probably spine bending, and also due to the way the things are binded together, so the glue sometimes will get in the way if it was on the page at the spine.

Really? I only look at the HomePage of JSQ (and only look for new update as well . . . >.>") Guess I missed that one then . . . >_<" . . . Wait . . . >_>" Then that means . . . I have to get ToI ch.11 translation done by this week?!! DDDD8

Ouch, Rena......^-^ and yeah...she's right....I was kinda upset that you didn't reply. I just wanted to help you make the best scans that you could for the group.
Actually, like I said earlier way back when, just check over the scans after you've scanned them. Like Miken said, some pages can be fixed by just redrawing the lines to make them straight, but I kinda die a little inside when I see multiple manga scans in a row shifted to the left or right.
No ones perfect, I check my manga scans but still occasionally a blurred edge or shifted image might get through, but then I just go back and rescan it (since I also don't debind either).

Nagi, I was just expressing your displeasure ^_^" Now that it's been cleared up, just be careful next time. ToM is a little harder to scan than most stuff because of it's size. It's the size of the scanner glass height wise, but about 5 cm smaller for the width so I know it's going to be hard to hold it in place compared to a tankoubon.

Hmmm, maybe laying something heavy and large over one page at a time would help? I sometimes use a large dictionary that covers the glass height wise, just gotta make sure that the edges are flat on the glass and not bubbled up.
