Hm, possibly. My one concern would be the student body. How have you found the quality of students to be at community colleges, anyway? I've heard mixed things. On one hand, I've heard you get a lot of kids who are just there because their parents insisted on a degree and/or kids who are such poor students that they couldn't get in anywhere else. But at the same time, I'd imagine there are probably a lot of diligent, intelligent students who are attending because they can't afford going to a more expensive college for 4 years.

you basically have students from all walks of life from all ages. really a lot of diversity.
i definitely don't think CC is dominated by poor academics. as far as the unsure student goes, u have that in any college. it's in no way a majority at CC, though. CC is seen now as the smart route, financially speaking, and i can say i've met a lot of intelligent students at my college.

I need a research topic for my presentation in my Japanese class--something to do with Japan or Japanese culture. I was thinking of researching Shintoism, but idk. Food culture maybe. My sensei hates anime so that's definitely not an option. (Not that I really care that much for anime anyway.)

How in depth? Why don't you do taiko drums or something else musical. Folk tales?

I think honne and tatemae are interesting, but perhaps that's too broad.

I'm done with it forever now. Just curious, what does your title "Master College Student" mean? Does that mean you are a grad?

I'm done with it forever now. Just curious, what does your title "Master College Student" mean? Does that mean you are a grad? Well, before it said 'upper tier college student,' which just meant I was a senior, or counted as one. Master I guess is, yeah, graduate. I'm graduating on Sunday. It was supposed to be a fighting game analogy or something like that. Top-tier sounds more appropriate, I guess. Graduate wouldn't be right, because I think that'd apply to being in Graduate school, which I probably will not be going. Not REALLY done forever. Gotta go back for the teacher's license, but that's more training than studying.

Ancient history and Prehistory have always been interesting to me. Not so much American history.

I'm seriously considering taking up art history to go along with my course (fine arts), it's just that all that writing I have to do that comes with taking up anything history related that keeps me away from them. It's not that I can't write, it's just that I'd rather paint or draw than write. Then again, my professors had been using my essays as case examples on how to write an art-related essay or term paper, so it might not be as bad as may think. EDIT: I feel that my writing ability is going downhill as time goes by, especially given that I barely give my posts a second look, and for all I know, it could be riddled with grammatical errors and incoherent sentences due to my habit of editing something mid-sentence and forgetting to rework whole paragraphs to accommodate these spur of the moment edits. I used to proofread for people, but now I need people to proofread my stuff
