That a crappy situation. Of course they might be paranoid about your thoughts/whatever, but there's no way their drama is your fault. I've had to solve some guild drama when I was playing MMOs myself and it's usually pretty childish stuff. Something about not getting attention or feeling left out (which is understandable I guess) or feeling like they are discriminated by some unique characteristics no-one even knew about. Of course I can't speak for others, I'll very quickly just cut my ties with anything that feels just pointless and harmful. For some people it's not that simple. I actually have no idea how people perceive me or if I have any aura to begin with. I know people rarely hear me raising my voice so when I accidentally do, even my closest friends get scared. I know some people have "wrong" image of me so they sometimes treat me in a weird way. I don't usually use smileys or anything in written language so it's easy to misinterpret my messages as a bit aggressive. So whenever you see something even slightly aggressive from me it's probably just my bitter sarcasm or friendly nagging. Nothing personal.Mhm, people need to understand that perception is everything...especially online. A lot of people tend to jump to conclusions and that's where a lot of misunderstandings and conflicts arise from. Apparently no one takes the time to assess the comment, "is this an attack?" "is this normal?". Sure, if you don't know just ask and sure you're risking looking like an idiot or w/e but better that than getting into a fight. Clarification....no seems to care about it....But yeah, just because you don't use smileys doesn't mean you're being an "ass" or w/e. People can't tell the difference anymore anyways......you're either too serious if you don't use them and you're a child if you do (judging from experience and people's reactions online). People need to honestly chill tho. ------ A thing that has been bothering me.....a friend of mine has been bringing up an argument we had awhile ago more and more often now. It'll start off by joking but he would just dive into it and say "I remember when you seriously scared me....sent chills down my back" and more of that crap. "I didn't expect that of you" "You honestly did scare me" " I was too scared to talk"...etc..etc...etc...etc. I keep on saying stop mentioning that too. After that fight we talked and I let it slide..whatever, things were over. But Christ....why does he need to stress such things? I told him to stop mentioning it before but he's seriously irritating me. Yes, I'm scary when you mess with me. I get it. We all do. But please...just let it go. *sigh*

But please...just let it go. *sigh* Didn't get to respond to Derman so I'll do so here. I also don't use the little smiley emoticon things in many places(I had to be taught them by a friend of mine) unless if I'm on a forum. In my experience, it helps alleviate some tension during more heated moments. And trust me, I don't take offence to anything outside of physical harm and people against the progression of medicine. So unless you punch me in the face or kill someone researching the cure for cancer, it's all fair game. On that argument Lynnie, I think it's possible it affected him more than you. At least, if he keeps bringing it up he may have been hit harder than expected. Although, I don't know what the discussion was about so I won't go EIAP on you or anything. --- Well... I guess I'll change the mood with a light hearted complaint? I just don't want to go fully into irritant mode at the moments. I really dislike how more and more games when downloaded let you start the game before it's fully installed. It happened with FFX HD(Rikku only would say '663 minutes till install') and DaS2: SotFS Edition('cannot pass' fog gates). Just lock me out until all the content is ready. It'll save time in the long run.

My dad had a similar problem a couple of years ago with his work laptop. He accidentally set the BIOS password as just "enter" key, and when he later had to input it again when he booted the laptop he couldn't write the "enter"-input on the password area because that would just send the password to be verified. The whole laptop was pretty much unusable, even removing the BIOS battery didn't fix it. The hours we spent trying to come up with a solution... He did get a new laptop and the drive was still usable, so not really much harm done there.

IT got it back up and running again, thankfully, but the original problem is still there, and now I am hit with constant messages about the drive having errors. Oh, well. Part of me hopes it will die so I can get a new computer early. I'm only 1 out of 4 years down That's pretty awful what happened to your dad's computer... good thing they were able to save the data. There's nothing quite like having your drive wiped.

Twas looking forward to the Ratchet & Clank Remaster... And then it got it's release date delayed till the movie comes out. Next spring. This annoys me, since the game was releasing June 30th, so it was already done, but we won't get it till next year for marketing...

^^^^You might need help. I've heard people getting hooked on gambling before, but when you have to make bets with yourself things are serious. You might lose all your money to yourself if you are not careful.
Today, I woke up at 6:00 AM and went to work as usual. Took me ~40 mins to get to the site. I was wondering why there was no-one there even though I usually come to work a bit later than most of the others. I went through all the floors and didn't see anyone. I was going to call my boss and ask what's going on before I realized we all got friday off... FML

Well I just submittedI disagree :)ignment with the wrong title. So you submitted your assignment with the wrong title? Did you write "my assignment"? because that sentence doesn't make much sense... EDIT: I tried to replicate that "i disagree" but can't do it. I ended up writing a long list of insults and naughty words but it only bleeped out a few of them.

The censor syntax on this board needs some serious cleaning up... It has for several years. Even besides turning innocuous strings into gibberish like lynnie's post, look at how it messed up the spacing! It does that for a lot of the replacements it makes.
