It's not a topic I feel very strongly about either way, but wondering what everyone else thinks about it. Thoughts?

Being a legal immigrant who paid his dues, was petitioned by my grandparents as a child and had to wait 10 years before coming here in the US legally, I say no. There should be other options to immigrate legally though, so the that there will be fewer reasons to do so illegally. It only became harder and harder as the years had gone by.

For child immigrants, I'd say yes.
I seen this rather eye-opening film about child immigration on the Mexican border. Some kids get killed by the northbound train and some die of dehydration in the Southwestern desert. I'd say, for the children who make the journey, they should at least be pardoned.
