Yutalia is right, thats how I run through my games too. Well Tales anyway. But Plant42's also right, theres nothing like the first playthrough of a good game....I tend to enjoy my first and second plays somewhat equally though, with the exception of Symphonia, in which I enjoyed all 6+ of my plays equally! lol Such an awesome game..... T.T

Hehe, Symphonia is the game that made me realize just how precious the first playthrough of a game can be. That is my favorite game of all time. I've completed it from start to finish 12 times, and never have I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time through. It just felt so real to me somehow--like it really happened or something. When the game was over and I saw the "Fin" screen, I was like... It's over??? T____T And then I did the Grade shop stuff and was like, "Oh, I remember all this." Hehe, it's hard/weird to explain. I dunno if anyone else has felt something similar with a game before. ^__^U

Anyway, when you take your time to read all dialogue, gettin' some exp and doin many subquest and all, 55-65 hours is easy to get. so one needs around 65 hours to beat ToG?

Second play is definitely so much more enjoyable. It's all about discovering details you've missed before. It's extremely fun.
What I've noticed today, after 8 hours of my second time: - should have known but never paid attention: the NPC you meet during the kid part grow up and you can meet them again and see how they are now. It's fun. Like, that lady who owns the ice candy shop? She was already there as a kid, dreaming of the shop she'd open. - you can meet Malik during the kid part (totally missed that the first time). And he knows Tigerfestival Richard. And recognizes him. That was cool. - Victoria is there too, and she's still a student (she's the blond girl standing with her friend before the academy). They're talking about Malik. - speaking of Victoria, seems she has a crush on Malik. - I'm starting to understand Windol's political system. - oh, and Aston's a marquis. Yup =3
And plenty of little things like that =D

Wow, I didn't realise that was Victoria outside of the academy. Good find! Can't wait to get back to playing Graces. I've banned myself from video games until my exams are over... Only one left! English Literature.
