I'm just wondering, because my Wii has a difficult time reading dual-layered discs (I own Brawl and Metroid Prime Trilogy, and they don't work). I still haven't sent in my Wii, but the game is coming out soon, and I've heard horror stories of the length of time Nintendo took to send it back. I'm doubtful that the game has as much information/data packed in as Brawl/Metroid Prime Trilogy, but I'm not going to immediately dismiss it.

I really, really doubt it. Brawl is basically two separate games, and Metroid Prime Trilogy is three separate games.

Considering how much they're fitting on the disc, maybe. My Wii has no problems reading dual layered discs, but I'd rather see two discs. I think it's just easier on the system and I don't really mind disc switching that much.

I thought Dual-Layered was the only type of DVD that the vanilla Wii could handle read....
Must be wrong, but with a 70 hour story and graphics that sharp, I'm sure it'll be dual layer. Just send it in, the longer you wait the longer you'll have to wait to get it back.

Actually Nintendo doesn't really take that long for repairs. Last year my Wii's disc holder broke or something (it wouldn't hold the disc in place to read it) and I had to send it for repairs. I got it in about 2ish weeks and it worked perfectly. The only 'threat' is that you may lose all your data inside but that isn't common.

I really don't see why it would be, unless it takes a lot of space to stream the whole world as one big field.

I imagine it would. Combine with the DLC, they'll need as much storage as possible.
