Remember back in July when I said I was visiting AC?
Well, turns out my visit was a lot longer than I've expected. Originally, I was going to leave sometime around September, but I thought I'd be able to manage my real life responsibilities & AC work. Things were going well, until I was elected into Co-Presidency for Student Council, then everything started conflict with all my activities--Including my extra-curricular activities such as Choir, Vocal Jazz, Improv, Church, Sports, etc.
There are a few things that I need to do this year, such as finding myself a better job (My first job had a REALLY scattered schedule, it's as if they barely needed me.), passing my Road Test, working out in the gym more often to get healthy, improving my grades & applying for scholarships.
Also, this is my graduating year, and it's time to pave my way into the acting scene. I will be taking drama classes in University, hopefully to become a full time actor somewhere down the road. I can only imagine how hectic that will be, trying to find venues to perform in while keeping a secondary job & managing myself during classes and what not.
I apologize to everyone who had to put up with my departures, but please know that I am entirely serious with each and every one of them. It's just that it's hard for me to turn away from a community that I've always devoted myself to. However, in doing this, it turned all the words in my previous departures meaningless, and I don't want that.
So, once again, I'll be taking my departure on AC once again. Will I return? Who knows. I just want to let you all know that I've always loved working at AC, and it'll always have a special place in my heart.
A few specific thank yous before I go once again:
Abby: Thanks for keeping Abyssal Chronicles as is once again. You know how much I am gratified by your endless work for the Tales of Community all around the world through our chats on MSN and Facebook, so I don't really have anything else to say. Just keep up the hard work, and I've always enjoyed working under you.
Scott: We hadn't talked as much during my "return" this time around, but I'm still glad that you've kept up with AC as well with your personal life. Keep fighting, friend.
Picup: My fellow Canadian staff member. I'm happy that You've kept up with AC as well--especially organizing all of us staff members into the recent Holiday clean up. I'm sure the forums will be in good hands if you continue to take initiative like that. =)
miken-chan: You've been really busy in your life yet you still keep AC in your heart with your visits, management of WoaA and some of our translations. Thanks for showing that commitment can still be alive regardless of the amount of hardships you have on your plate. I've always admired that about you, keep it up. =)
(Also, can you tell Minnie for me that I am sincerely sorry for letting her down again..? I'm really embarrassed to speak to her now after all the empty promises I've given. I suppose you can say, I'm off the squad. If she's wondering why I was lousy this year, tell her that it's due to my new presidency role in student council and it kept bombarding me with tasks to do. So, I regret to say that I'm sorry to let the team down, and I probably won't be returning to the team anymore. If you speak to her still, that is... Thank you.)
Ada: Our newest member of the staff, and you sure do well with both connecting with the community as well with keeping up with some updates for the website over the past year. You're doing a good job, and I'm sure AC will also be fine as long as you're around. Wish I can visit you, Cleo & Abby some day at the Phils. X)
AC Skype Members: Thanks for being there whenever I needed to chat. It was amusing to see all of you communicate with each other as well with watching the RPs you all do (Sadly, Richard the Knight won't return. D:). Lauren, Rowan, Mr. Erik, JimmIon, Cleo, Bani, Disty & for everyone else who I apologize for missing, thank you.
I'll also be playing Touhou more often now thanks to Disty. Lol.[/s]
And most of all, thank you all for keeping AC alive. ^_^
Sincerely,
Richard P. (SyphonVectorman)[/i]
