If you want to play a game on the go, definitely get it. Just keep in mind that although it is on a new hardware so loading times are faster, there isn't the world map glitch (if you want to get Asch or for whatever reason) or multiplayer.

hmmmm I was looking into it and it seems they fixed the HP differences of some monsters that had their max HP doubled in the PS2 American release for some reason.
But yeah, besides that you have no loading times and portability! Not to mention that the 3DS could use some good RPGs.

Not to mention that the 3DS could use some good RPGs. I hope so. the only problem is will people really open their eyes for that....I don't know about other regions but the old NDS had great RPGs but poorly sold here in Arabian countries. |

I'd imagine that'd be a natural consequence of the language barrier, though? It's a lot easier to play, say, an FPS than an RPG with minimal reading skills.

I'm gonna buy it because I love Abyss and I want to support the possibility of new Tales games in the future. (Hey, you never know. We're getting Graces.  ) It'll be nice to have shorter loading times, and I can't wait to carry Auldrant around in my pocket. >:3 |

One bad point: We can't change characters in battle!!!! D:
It's really all the same sexy, buuuut....you might think I'm mad, but the loading times feel slower :/ (from the Ps2 Version I had...)

The load times in the 3ds version are literally virtually nonexistent. How much of the original did you play?

A TON. The last savefile was my 6th playthrough, always fast, never had a problem with it, but now with the 3DS, it seems slower....i don't know why.
