One bad point: We can't change characters in battle!!!! D: Uh, are you sure you didn't just miss the Moon Selector.

I had forgotten about that....isn't that like in Chesedonia or so? (I've been playing too much Xillia and Graces that I forgot there was such thing.)
And I think my friend said Mieu was the cutest thing he's ever heard/seen in his life.

I thought it was in Cheagle Woods (or whatever they're called). Don't take my word for it, though, it's been forever since I've had to find the stupid thing...
EDIT: Scratch that, apparently you receive it automatically when you return to Baticul for the first time.

That one lets you change the character it displays while walking around.

I am 90% certain the Moon Selector is in the Miyagi Dojo.

You were right, it was at the Dojo. I felt so stupid for a while.

I may have to get the 3d version because my PS2 won't read the disc anymore and when I does it's so slow.

Really? I thought the 3DS suffered a little in that department.... more jagged edges and a less crisp look. The difference is largely marginal and doesn't bother me at all, but it's still noticeable.

i did notice the jaggedness but maybe i was overtaken by the magic of the game ^.^ plus i kind of loved the fact that i could play it whenever i wanted

I do believe the models were one of the things that were scaled down to fit the size constraint. On top of that jaggedness is going to be more apparent on a screen with less resolution. It never really bothered me that much though, much of the game's personality was conveyed through art direction and detailed environment.

The version I own and have played is the 3DS version, yes the graphics are a little rough around the edges sadly... You can fix that by turning on 3D of course, but I don't like playing games in 3D on my 3DS. For a fast paced and action packed battle system like that it would make my eyes hurt by moving the 3DS around to much while 3D is turned on. However I still managed to enjoy it very much. It still remains one of my favorite Tales games of all time. ^^
EDIT: I would also like to note that the anime cut-scenes had very low volume...

I got started with this version and after reading thee posts, I'm glad I did. I hate loading times. They're non-existant in the 3DS version.
One more reason to buy this: supporting Namco Bandai in their efforts to get us more Tales games. I'm hoping that if this version did well enough, they might bring more PS2 versions to 3DS...or Wii U. (Hoping for a Tales game specifically for WiiU)
