What's your favorite?
I vote hands-down for Special K Red Berries cereal. Delicious. I am also a pretty big fan of corn flakes and Cheerios. Don't really care for the super sugary stuff (though if someone offered me Reese's Puffs cereal, I would be tempted. But this is has more to do with the fact that I love peanuts and peanut butter).

Honey bunches of oats with extra raisins and granola sprinkled on top. A conservative amount of milk is added to prevent sogginess

I've never ever had cereal in my life actually. I have rice and something to go with it like eggs or sausages.

^WHUT. YOU NEED TO COME TO AMERICA, SIS. Hands down for Reese's Puff, Special K, and Cheerios. Captain Crunch & Coco Puffs pwns all. :/ tbh, I think both are gross.... But I like: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese's Puff, Special K Berry Mix, Cheerios, and Lucky Charms.

Ah, Lucky Charms, heh. My mother wouldn't buy me those when I was little because I'd only eat the marshmallows and refuse to eat the rest of the cereal :'(
I also like Kix, come to think of it.
Worst cereal has to be Wheaties and variations thereof. Tastes like horse feed.

Honey Bunches of Oats with almond. I don't like having cereal for breakfast though, as it doesn't really fill me up like bacon, egg and sausages do and they're too sugary and sweet for me.

I don't buy box cereal normally. Too expensive and you don't get a box worth--you get cereal in a plastic bag that fills maybe 2/3 of the box.
I like the no-name cereal alternates to Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, Fruity Rice Krispies, and Honey Nut Cherios.

To be fair, you never get a full box or bag worth of anything. Buy a bag of chips, and 2/3 of it is air.
Non-name brands are actually pretty alright. I remember looking down on them before I went off to boarding school, where they only bought generic brands to cut costs. For most things, you can't really taste the difference.

That air must be some quality stuff. A bag of chips is like $3, so you're paying a buck for the air.
What a scheme.

Yeah, really. It always really bugs me when I buy, say, a bag of cookies for a couple bucks and there are 10 tiny cookies in a massive bag. It really only happens with junk food, though, so I guess that's just another reason to eat heathily.

I don't think I've ever seen that in stores. What is it?
Incidentally, I've noticed the same cereal brand can differ quite drastically from one country to another. I was talking with my mother the other day about Special K, and we agreed European Special K is much crunchier and has a distinctly different taste. I don't enjoy Special K nearly as much as I used to after I came back from Athens.
The same applies to other products, too. Orangina in France is very different from Orangina here.

No one has talked about oatmeal and hot cereal?
Flavored oatmeal like strawberries and cream is my alternate to the usual cold cereal.
