I frustrate everyone I know who has my phone number because 90% of the time, my phone won't be on me. It's quite possible that I won't check it or or even charge it for days or weeks on end. I've made an honest attempt to be more conscious about taking it with me this year, but... I just don't like phones.
With the exception of my immediate family, I hate talking to people on the phone. I've never been one for small talk, so if I have to call somebody, I call to get my business done and hang up. Done deal. I find casual conversations on the phone stressful; there's no body language for me to read. Besides, I can rarely think of anything so pressing to talk about on the phone that I couldn't wait to talk about it until I saw them next.
As for texting, eh. I only like to use texting only for short, to-the-point business-y things, like telling someone I'll be late. I don't see the point in texting casually. I can't imagine what people who text hundreds of times a day even have to talk about. (But then again, I use MSN a lot, so I guess maybe it's no different.)

Long phone calls make my ear sweaty, so I don't like phone calls.

I barely use my phone. For some odd reason if I forget to take it out of silent and leave it on the charger while I'm elsewhere people will always call me and send me texts. However when it's not on silent no one calls or leaves messages. I always found it annoying.

... I barely use it unless someone texts me or calls me. I rarely ever be the first to start a chain of text messages or calls. Unless... it depends on mood.

I like using the phone... if it's from a very close friend whom I couldn't meet face to face under most circumstances. Otherwise, I'd rather talk in person. I always keep my phone with me though, just for the sake of making it easier to contact me when needed

I'm going to make the claim that phones are an introvert's worst enemy.
I've no problem talking to my immediate family, but talking to anyone else is a pain because of small talk:
"HELLO" "HI how are you?" "Good. You?" "i'm alright"
"ok nice talking to you." "K ttyl" "Yeah bai"
Just some things I wish never existed.

I like using my phone. I need it for work, and I have a bunch of friends who aren't usually online or are online at different hours than I am. I also am not on the computer constantly since I'm usually out of the house during the week.

I use it as needed and never answer unless I know the number. I wouldn't use my phone near as much as I do if I didn't live with my mom and could drive.
Texting more than short replies or quick information is aggravating; to this day I am grateful that the friend who refused to talk on the phone and only text now has internet.

Yup! ^_^ But I'm so glad I don't have a "smartphone". I usually don't need it, but I only use it for emergencies, looking up reference pictures, lyrics, mobile recipes, stuff like that, when I'm not home, and of course, talking/texting with my bfs.
