So, does anyone here have a favorite studio they really like? Like Ufotable or Production I.G. Or Shaft, etc. If so, which is your favorite. And possibly why. Also, do you mostly look for animes done by certain company or you just don't give a damn about any of this.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For me, its perhaps a tie between Ufotable and Kyoto Animation. They do some beautiful works and stuff. The animation is always lovely, the movements are fluid. etc. Ufotable is currently doing Fate/Zero while Kyoto Animation is doing Hyouka.

Madhouse is always reliable, and when they're really on the ball, they're great. See: The Tatami Galaxy.
But really, I've been liking their work since I saw Trigun way back when. It's good stuff. When they have the budget, at least.

Oh yeah, Madhouse is nice too. They did one of my favorite oldie: Beyblade, first series. And Death Note and Chobits and Di Gi Charat. Also some segments for The Boondocks season 2. I didn't even realize they did Chihayafuru... o wo

I don't really watch anime, so I'm not very familiar with different studios. That being said, I think Bones makes nice art.

Bones does Eureka Seven :3
... And, as for Studio Deen being brought up. I'm not too fond of the art for Hetalia anime. Its not really ...that great. Kind of like Shaman King (Zebec I think?) isn't that great either. Of course, anime is supposed to be simplified so...

Production I.G.: I've been keeping up with less and less of their series but in general I can relate to them as a solid studio that will occasionally go out of its way to do series that actually differentiate themselves a bit more -- like with Eden of the East.
ufotable: I love their work on Kara no Kyoukai and just how their strong visuals, Yuki Kajiura's amazing music and some solid writing made everything about that series fun. The ToS OVA is a pretty huge bonus too.
Brains Base: I absolutely love all the series they've been doing -- Natsume Yuujinchou has been one of the greatest calming factors of my life ever since I've picked it up and the awesomeness of Baccano!, Durarara!! and Spice and Wolf S2 only further add. Now I just need to go back and properly watch Kuragehime.
Madhouse: They have some awkward facial animation moments but they more often than not have solid series with plots that more than enough make up for any visual weaknesses.
Bones: Even if their style is similar through most series I can almost always trust them on plot, presentation and some of the most awesome battle sequences ever.

Gainax. The animation they've done with Rebuild of Evangelion is absolutely beautiful but a close second is Ufotable for me despite only seeing the work they've done with Xilla...but hey it still looks awesome nontheless.
