I have an annoying tendency to make threads late at night as a procrastination tool.
I love cats. Full stop. They consider me beneath them, and they're right. I am their willing slave, ready to worship.
Dogs, eh. They're nice, but I have no interest in ever owning one. They're too dependent for my tastes. Cats are happy to ignore me if I'm busy, but dogs, not so much. Plus, they're not as hygienic and clean as cats. I always want to wash my hands right after touching a lot of dog breeds, especially ones with long hair.
That being said, if I had to get a dog, I would have to get a bulldog because those things just look great.
Aside from the traditional dog/cat pet ownership, I'd get a skunk if I could. My 4th grade teacher told us about how nice they are when they're domesticated, and an irrational fantasy of owning a skunk has never left me since. (I also always really wanted to own a chimpanzee as a kid, but uh, yeah, they don't really make for very nice pets. See for reference the chimp that ripped off a woman's face and hands unprovoked a couple years ago in Connecticut.) Fish are boring, and I don't know why anyone would ever want to own any.

I love kitties.
Puppies are nice as well, but not as cute as kittens.
Plus cats have a natural attraction to me, which is why I am constantly being followed by cats whenever they are around.

Yeah, cats have a real way of knowing who likes them. My mother doesn't like cats much and complains constantly that even though she treats them well regardless, all of the cats we've ever owned have always snubbed her in favor of my dad and me.

I used to be a big cat lover, but I like dogs better now. Probably because my bro already has enough obsessive love for cats for the both of us. My love for dogs grew when I felt that dogs are now under appreciated compared to cats. And I'm always the one who... roots for the UNDERDOG ;D

Dogs are good & and all but they cost a fortune..... I'll go with cats. even though we're not allowed to have pets in the first place (my old is a heartless monster then?) Dogs, eh. Did you know that washing your hands seven times after touching a dog is not enough to kill the germs?! there is a trick which is to use "sand" or anything of the sort...

Lived with cats most of my life. They're cool.
Dogs are okay, too. They're not as temperamental as cats. You pet a dog, they always become happy. However, cats can be moody, and depending on where you pet them, they can leave a few deep scratches. (Those hurt.)
And sometimes, they scratch you for no reason...

There's nothing quite like being woken up in the morning by a happy dog jumping on your face. Haven't had to use an alarm clock in a long time. . .

Puppies are nice as well, but not as cute as kittens. You have to die. There's nothing quite like being woken up in the morning by a happy dog jumping on your face. Haven't had to use an alarm clock in a long time. . . Now I wanna cry....I used to remember when my dog used to do that.... Anyways, DOGS rule, in my opinion, as much as I am shy, once you get to know me, I bring my crazy side out (just as much as I do here I guess?), cause I love anyone who's playful. Cats are boooring. Really. They just sit there, and usually, when I try to pet one, I get stabbed by their claws, or they gtfo. But if I pet a dog, he'll be happy and then we chase after each other in a field.

Cats. <3
I like dogs too, but cats are less needy. Potty training isn't really something I'd like to go through.

Cats if only because Alvin's alone in the Xillia cast liking them P: But I've owned cats all my life and I'm not fond of big dogs because hey can jump up high.
HOWEVER I am totally willing to adopt one of those cutesy little dogs that don't grow very large, like a Shih Tzu~
