I have been a huge Tales fan for 7 years. I have been looking for a site that I would be able to spew my love/knowledge for/of Tales games without being judged. Have I found one? Please tell me: am I surrounded by brethren? ;.; Peace offering? ;.;

That's great! I appreciate your welcome! What other great series are talked about on here? I see Fire Emblem and Legend of Zelda a lot.

We generally talk about any game series to be honest. Animal Crossing is pretty popular here too.

I haven't played New Leaf myself but I do plan on getting it sometime. The 3DS is also a popular handheld here and we do like to organize a session here and there.

I can tell; organization is key to a good forum. Wish I had a 3DS, I'd love to take Tales of the Abyss on the go. Well, seeing as how this is a gaming forum, I would like to know your favorite gaming series? Of course, aside from Tales

Well for a whole series, I'd say... Zelda. The more I think about it, the only series I follow aside from Tales is Zelda actually. I would say Fire Emblem but I sorta jumped on the Awakening bandwagon like a whole bunch of other people, I am willing to try out previous titles though.
As for why Zelda, I guess it's because of the variety that the series brings. People may say it's the same dungeon puzzle solving but look at Link to the Past, Majora's Mask, jump to Wind Waker and then look at Skyward Sword. Lots of variety there. What about your series?

I know exactly what you mean with Zelda. I have played almost all the games, have quiet a blast too, but I wouldn't say it 's one of my absolute favorites. My favorites ones are probably Zelda II and Wind Waker. You have no idea what you have been missing when it comes to Fire Emblem. If you have a Gamecube/Wii, try to find Fire Emblem Path of Radience/Radiant Dawn. Beautiful games. Sacred Stone is where I started and I worked my way around from there.
The series I will always follow include Golden Sun, Metroid, Pokemon, Zelda (Only haven't finished Majora's Mask and Skyward Sword), Final Fantasy (only haven't played 8-11), Fire Emblem, LEGO (got to admit, the games are addicting), Arkham, and Castlevania.
In all honestly, I will play just about anything, no matter how much of a "bad" game I think it is. As long as I can have fun playing it, I will keep it.
I am also trying to play all of the Tales games, but just not enough time since school is almost starting. The ones I have played: Tales of Symphonia (c) Tales of Vesperia (c) Tales of the Abyss Tales of Graces f Tales of VS Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology Tales of Phantasia (c) Tales of Destiny Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World <- ew Tales of Innocence (c) Tales of Xillia

What other series are talked about here...Everything? No, but a lot of series. I would say games primarily of Japanese origin, and I see a lot have been listed already.
Let's see, I am over-obsessive over all things Castlevania, Golden Sun, and Fire Emblem. I could talk more in-depth about those listed, but I feel it unnecessary.
As for Fire Emblem, I am still living quite happily in the past--I have not awakened yet to this new age...yet.

As for Fire Emblem, I am still living quite happily in the past--I have not awakened yet to this new age...yet. I am beginning to like this forum more and more. I have been in need of a place like this. My friends are not appreciative enough of games that require strategy, which is pretty much all games that have been listed here. I lent Vesperia to a friend of mine for 3 weeks. He stopped playing it because he said it was "too hard". This guy bought it for me for my birthday and we played it together for 4 hours. Same dude also has yet to complete Final Fantasy XIII (he's been playing it because he always dies at a boss and can't figure out why. I respect you all because I can tell there is variety here. Most of my friends have never heard of Golden Sun and have never played Fire Emblem, Tales, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, or Zelda. I have one friend that just got into Fire Emblem because of Awakening. I told her: "Have you been living under a rock?" Been missing out on such a gem.
