I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas again right now. Last time I got my character trapped in the god-awful Dead Money DLC, which totally burnt me out, but playing as someone markedly different from myself has become a great role-playing experience, which is not something I've ever had with these Elder Scrolls-y games. I have my erstwhile roommate, who provided the inspiration for the character, to thank. Thanks for being totally batty! It's been a trip!

Been playing some Fire Emblem games.
I'm currently on FE12, which is sooooooooo much better than FE11. The Camp Conversations alone add so much more character.

Currently playing Legend of Mana alongside Kirby's Mass Attack and Tales of Symphonia. So far, Legend of Mana is pretty entertaining. It's a bit too convoluted, though. Kirby's Mass Attack as well as about 15 other games are on a list of games that I have purchased but not finished. Tales of Symphonia is being played mostly for research purposes. I want to figure out what Accuracy and Evasion do in the game.

I've been playing around with a lot of games. The only ones I actually intend to finish are Pillars of Eternity and SMT:Nocturne. I've been playing Nocturne for like 7 months with long sessions twice a month or so. I enjoy the game a lot when I play it, for some reason I just don't play it often.

Played/been playing a few things since I was last here...
- Tales of Symphonia (Chronicles). Finished my I-really-can't-remember-anymore-but-it-might-be-in-the-hundreds playthrough of it. First on PS3, though. Plan to 100% it, but I'm pretty sure I'm too lazy for that. - Tales of Xillia 2. Still stuck on the last dungeon. Not much more to say. - Fire Emblem 12. I loved this game for some reason. Added some characterization that I craved after playing Fire Emblem 11 (which I still love). Glad I finally got around to it. - GTA V/Online. I'm hooked for some reason. Online, especially. Shame that my PS3 is crapping up. Can't play it without the game (and this game ONLY) freezing. - UMVC3. I don't have the guts to play online anymore. So I just practice TAC infinites. - Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. Completely random. I guess it's nostalgic for me.
Sooo, yeah.

I've been playing Persona 3 as it was on the list of games that I have not finished... for some reason. I'm also finishing up Tales of Legendia.

I've been getting into Kingdom Hearts for the first time. I also started Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and Final Fantasy XIV.

I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles recently. My sister lost her mind after a certain point in the story. Too many feels.

Bought Alan Wake a while back. Instanly became one of my favorites. Even though I'm not too much into horror games, the story, atmosphere, pacing and overall stucture and gameplay are just excellent.
The game also holds one of my favorite gaming moments ever: fighting the taken in a dark warehouse while a random radio is playing "War" by Poets of the Fall.

All of the scenes involving Poets of the Fall music were fantastic.

I picked up Persona Q finally. It's been sitting on my shelf untouched for a year or so.
I like this whole drawing the map deal quite a bit. Keeps the dungeon-crawling entertaining!
This game really drives home how much voice acting makes a difference in your experience. With Fuuka's voice actor replaced, I no longer feel homicidal whenever she opens her mouth. The poor girl's actually not that bad of a character. (I won't lie; I do kind of miss "GASP! The enemy! There are three enemies left!" a little in a masochistic sort of way, though.)
Come think of it, I think someone told me Teddy's VA got replaced, too. Teddy was like nails on a chalkboard. I doubt I'll ever like him (those PUNS), but a less squealy voice would do me just fine.

I like this whole drawing the map deal quite a bit. Keeps the dungeon-crawling entertaining! Etrian Odyssey is the best. I was gonna pick up this cross-over at some point, but I'm so burnt-out on P3/4 that I could probably just pretend everything about those games was lost like Atlantis and be fine with it. I've done the same thing with Nocturne... although over a much longer time period. I should really finish it some day (I'm in the final dungeon, but I don't feel like grinding...). At this rate I feel like I would get it done a lot faster if I started from the beginning. Again, despite being at the end of the game!

You'll probably guess how my Nocturne playthrough has progressed from that last post . I've picked it up exactly once. I might never finish the game at this rate but at least I had some fun with it. My brother bought me Fallout 4 for my birthday and it has eaten all my gaming time. It has to be the best bethesda game yet. Skyrim's problems were mostly the lack of any real surprises when exploring. In Fallout 4 there are so much stuff to see, from flying giant ships to little details like a teddy bear sitting on a toilet reading a magazine. It's fun, despite the numerous flaws.

I just found out Ys Celceta has finally been patched to work on the Vita TV, so it's time for me to go through the whole series in optimal (imo) story order!
Chronicles -> Celceta -> Felghana -> Napishtim -> Origin
I'm skipping Kefin and Seven on the grounds that they don't have much to do with the larger plot (plus Kefin is clunky and Seven is grindy and long as f**k).

I got stuck on a boss battle in Ys I and gave up. Is it worth moving on to the next one? (On topic, I'm currently playing Tales of Zestiria, Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories, and Yo-Kai watch, and replaying Undertale to do a full pacifist playthrough.)
