Hey guys, so I own pretty much every US released Tales game so far, and I have ToGF pre-ordered, and I support all the releases and what not. But based off of everything released, I don't know if I should get this or not.
I played and beat the PS2 version not that long ago, and since nothing has been added except shortened loading times, should I just stick with ToGF or get this?

If you've played the PS2 version, there's no need for you to pick the 3DS version up as it is a complete remake of the PS2 version and has no new content in it. I do recommend it for those who never played TOTA though.

Removing the loading times is like the best present they could ever give players. Who needs extra content when there's no loading times, seriously?
Abyss's loading times were horrible. Point blank.

Worth for those who REALLY REALLY didn't get the chance to play the game.

Oh this I did not know, sorry about it. With less or no loading time, the 3DS version should be preferred over the PS2 version.

I'm guessing you didn't play the PS2 version, huh. Everybody who played the PS2 version is well-acquainted with the horror of the world map.
Meggiora Highlands and that swamp will no longer be the worst dungeons in the game :D

Well I did play the PS2 version a while ago, not the 3DS version. The loading was indeed annoying, but I wasnt that much intimidated by it. I heard it from someone on this forum that there was no new new content in the 3DS version, thats it. I basically do not know much about 3DS version though.

Yeah, there's nothing new. I don't believe there's anything Streetpass/Spotpass-related either, which is too bad (not that I'd have any ideas of how they could make it Streetpass/Spotpass compatible).

I actually didn't see how slow/quick the loading times were, when I played it, they were pretty fast, really. Faster than Eternal Sonata's Ps3 Loading Times, man, I hate that. EDIT Well, if you've already played TotA, I don't see any point in getting it unless your Ps3 doesn't accept Ps2 Disc, it's badly scratched, your Ps2 hates you, then Idk. I might as well go for ToGf, though I'm buying it because its really scratched, and I don't wanna scratch it more than it is. And ToGf is a really beautiful game, so you should get it. EDIT Dos And another reason is cause I've been getting very addicted to the 3Ds lately...

Eh, my copy works just fine, but I'm buying the 3DS version anyway because I liked the game a lot and it's now portable. Portable trumps home console every single time for me.

You can buy it for the 3D/*shot*
Eh, I'm getting it because Abyss is my favorite game of all time and I want to play it again with the convenience of being portable and having shorter load times. I managed to miss ALL of the side quests on my first run.
3D actually is a rather nice bonus for me. I played through Abyss right as 3D for the masses was coming into being, and sometimes I wondered what it would look like.

I almost never use the 3D function on my 3DS. Gives me a headache almost immediately unless I put my glasses on.

You should always be wearing your glasses anyways.
You don't want to lose those two points of Perception, do you?
