Whenever a boss keeps spamming an annoying move over and over again. Which reminds me... SNK Boss Syndrome in fighting games. It's annoying, and you have to find a pattern and be as stupid cheap to beat them.

Whenever a boss keeps spamming an annoying move over and over again. lol this... I heard someone from Gamefaqs who played Lunar Silver Star Harmony in which the final boss Ghaleon kept spamming 'Chaos Shield', a move that makes him invincible for three turns. I find that hilarious though, Ghaleon only used 'Chaos Shield' like one per 5-6 turns when I was playing Lunar, but I can understand the frustration to those who happened to witness him spamming 'Chaos Shield'.

Hm, surprised no one has mentioned escort quests.
I swear the programmers design whoever you're escorting to be absolutely f*cking retarded and practically hurl themselves into enemy fire.
My brother used to play Golden Eye on the N64 a lot when we were younger, and ahahahaha, was it ever fun to hear him scream with rage at the game because the person he was charged with protecting, Natalya, was a drooling vegetable and impossible to protect.

Don't forget missions in tactic games where you must keep weak NPCs alive and they just happen to be on the other side of the map, surrounded by enemies, and is stupid enough to run TOWARDS THE FREAKING ENEMIES rather then your party.

Whoever decided to put an escort mission in Catherine is truly an insane person but then again, I'm the idiot who decided to play hard mode.

That was Pent in FE7. Then again, what you mentioned is a pretty common thing in Fire Emblem in general.

^It's also in FFT games, the Wild Arms tactic game and SMT:DS.
Edit: Adding Spheda to the list of annoyances

I'm not much of a fan of going through dungeons... and also backtracking.

^You'd hate Suikoden then.
If you want all 108 stars in the series, you'll need to backtrack, a lot.

That reminds me. I don't like easily missable events.
Radiata Stories was fun, but I always felt so rushed because you had to do the right things at the right time with the right people to get new members of your team. You only had a limited number of days until the storyline would advance, too, so you had to get it right quickly. iirc, there were like a jillion recruitable members, too, so you were bound to miss somebody somewhere.

I'll be quick and blunt.
LOSING SAVE DATA.
At least I only spent about 30 hours on it and I was already level 83. The only thing I'm really angry about is losing all the hours of farming dragon skins and fangs for everyone. I'll definitely have fun doing that again...

That's really a huge pain. I've quit games over that, when I was younger.

It's a good thing we're able to back up some save data in this day and age where you can take your memory card and hook it up to your computer.
Also, I hate when I use a FAQ for a game and I get spoiled.
