I have to say, most of the story wasn't that compelling. But I still think a lot of the characters have good and believable personalties, except for some of the characters like Tear Mohs and SH Luke.
Tear didn't really click in my head realistic, sure she was like that cause of her Military training, it could be cause I found it weird that she always trying to do things in an orderly fashion and then she pulls out "It's so cute".
Mohs just seem too obsessed with the score for what seemed like no apparent reason. And yet he works with people who want to destroy the score, sure he was being used but you think he could've realized it after so much time.
And SH Luke I really think you hit it right on the dot, but what I also wonder is that, even though everyone tried to tell him he wasn't useless, he never listened?
But even though I see these flaws with the story, I find that I'm entertained by it, mainly cause of the humor put in, and it could be that my brother(who I played with on my first playthrough) and I make comments that make some scenes even better, sometimes resulting in inside jokes.
Then the battle system, while I'll admit it's pretty easy to not lose, it's still a blast with the FoF changes and fast pace. I found all the characters well playable excluding Tear and Natalia and with some skill you can make battles challenging by attempting to get higher combos or avoiding most battles reaching bosses with low levels. And the bonus bosses I found were incredible, Nebilm on normal was a challenge for my brother and I (although we may had been underleveled, but that just makes it better) and when we beat the her we were so, I can't think of good word to describe our happiness. And then the same thing happened with the Cameo fight on Hard mode on our first Playthrough.
I have to say, there are some flaws with this game that I can't just ignore, but a lot of them I notice but don't care. This is my favorite Tales game that I have played though and I'm on my second and third playthroughs, one with my bro, one with myself, both on hard all the way.
